The Bianconeri were also said to be keen on Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi, but this morning’s edition of La Stampa states that Bernardeschi has now ousted Berardi as the number one target for the summer. With the 23-year-old in fine form in the number 10 role for the Viola, interest is said to have shifted his way, but there will be competition from both Inter and Chelsea, both of whom are keen on the Carrara-born player. Bernardeschi hit the headlines with a wonderful free-kick against Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this month but is unlikely to be in action this evening when Fiorentina take on Torino due to a bruised ankle. The Bianconeri have already been linked with a move for the 23-year-old, with reports suggesting that he is now the preferred option over previous target Domenico Berardi. Buffon hails from Carrara, the same Tuscan town as the Viola star, with the pair known to enjoy a good relationship. The goalkeeper was a guest on the show alongside Sanremo festival winner Francesco Gabbani, who is also a native of the town. "This is the good air of Carrara," Buffon smiled in an interview with JTV. "Maybe Bernardeschi will join us next year." Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport claims that the Bianconeri are ready to offer €40m plus bonuses for the 23-year-old this summer. Such an offer may be unlikely to convince owners Andrea and Diego Della Valle, who are said to be looking to include a €100m release clause into the player’s new contract. Discussions are ongoing, with the Italian international reportedly reluctant to agree to such a high clause, instead looking to go with a more reasonable €60-70m figure. Despite the success of the Bianconeri, the Tuscany-born player may be reluctant to make the move to the Viola’s most fierce rivals, and recently refused to be photographed with a Juventus scarf at the opening of the Viareggio cup. Italian publication Calciomercato have reported that Juventus are preparing an opening offer to sign Federico Bernardeschi from Fiorentina. The Italian winger is also being closely followed by Chelsea and Inter Milan. Bernardeschi is one of the most exciting prospects to have emerged out of Italy in recent years, and he has been making quite the impression having risen through the ranks at Fiorentina. Having established himself as a key figure for La Viola, the 23-year-old is enjoying his best season in 2016/17. Bernardeschi has racked up some impressive numbers for Fiorentina this term, scoring 13 goals while providing five assists in 35 appearances in all competitions. That is a direct contribution to a goal every 130 minutes, and his stellar performances have resulted in clubs making a beeline for his signature. While the likes of AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have had Bernardeschi monitored on several occasions, Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan have been linked heavily with him, making it a three-way battle for the Italian. Chelsea have been tracking the progress of Bernardeschi for a long time now, with Antonio Conte believed to be an admirer of his compatriot’s talents. The Italian tactician is reported to be seeking quality additions in attack for the summer, and has reportedly set his sights on the young winger. The Blues were even reported to be planning a €45 million swoop for Bernardeschi in January before they decided to wait till the summer. The player is a perfect fit in Conte’s system with his electric burst of pace and adeptness to play across the front three, as well as a wing back. Meanwhile, Inter Milan are also eyeing Bernardeschi for a summer move with the Suning Group eager to provide Stefano Pioli with a transfer warchest in the summer to build a formidable squad. And they have identified Bernardeschi as the perfect player to lead the Nerazzurri into the long-term future. Juventus are the third team in the fray for Bernardeschi, with the Serie A champions reported to be eager to recruit a pacy left-footed winger in the summer. On evidence from the current campaign, the Fiorentina man is likely to prove as an upgrade and a long-term option compared to Juan Cuadrado, the current first-choice for Allegri. And it looks like Juventus are the club who have taken the first decisive step towards landing Bernardeschi, as they are ready to make an opening €40 million bid for him in the summer. The report further adds that the player himself prefers a move to Turin, with the Bianconeri offering him a double-your-pay €4 million-a-year deal. However, Fiorentina are only willing to listen to offers in upwards of €60 million, meaning Juventus and other suitors will have to improve their offers in order to secure his services come June. The creative midfielder’s current deal runs to June 2019 and he had been offered a new improved salary. Newspaper Libero claims Bernardeschi and agent Beppe Bozzo will turn down the proposal from the Viola. This opens the door for clubs such as Inter, Juventus, Milan and Chelsea to prepare offers for Bernardeschi. He just turned 23 and has scored 13 goals with five assists in 35 competitive games for the Viola this season. It was thought that the Nerazzurri were leading the race for his signature, but Tuttosport is reporting that Juve are trying to outdo them. Inter are also determined to snap up Bernardeschi for next season along with Sassuolo star Domenico Berardi, as they try to form a more Italian core to the squad. The Serie A champions are looking to invest in their attack in the close-season and have targeted Bayern Munich's Douglas Costa, while Patrik Schick's €25m move from Sampdoria is expected to be confirmed. They are set to add winger Bernardeschi to their team as well, who has convinced director Giuseppe Marotta to enter negotiations with an initial offer. Although the Viola have set an asking price of €50m, Massimiliano Allegri's side are looking to narrow the gap with bonuses. The two sides do not have a great relationship, but the presence of the 23-year-old attacker's agent, Beppe Bozzo, could smooth talks. Bernardeschi is contracted to Fiorentina until June 2019, but is not interested in signing a new contract with the club he joined at the age of nine. The Italy international, who scored 11 goals in 32 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina, has also attracted interest from Inter and Chelsea. Juventus are set for a busy summer, with Dani Alves joining Manchester City and Leonard Bonucci and Alex Sandro the subjects of interest from Chelsea, while they are open to selling Juan Cuadrado. There are, for the most part, plenty of rumors to be occupying our minds even before the transfer market is actually open for business. Whether mere rumor or fact, main transfer targets have been put out there and pretty much everybody knows that there are moves to be made. Names have been linked to Juventus. We know that. But according to Sky Sport Italia on Saturday, two names have emerged from the rest of the pack and suddenly become Juventus’ top transfer targets this summer. At least right now. (That, of course, can change, but you know that by now.) They are Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi and Real Madrid right back Danilo. Those are two positions of need for Juventus this summer because the 4-2-3-1 — or some kind of variation of it that involves play-making wingers — and the imminent departure of Dani Alves, respectively, are ever-present storylines over the last few weeks. What does all of this mean? Well, that’s what we’re all actually waiting to find out. All seems relatively quiet on the Douglas Costa front right now, which could mean that either talks have stalled or that Bayern Munich continues to insist for the lofty transfer fee they want and that has caused Beppe Marotta to move on to other options that may not be pricey. Not that trying to sign Bernardeschi is going to be drastically cheaper than signing Costa, with Fiorentina still reportedly holding firm on their €50 million price tag for the 23-year-old Italian winger. There are, of course, other right backs that have been linked to Juventus. But, a lot like one of Costa or Bernardeschi, it’s not like Danilo is going to come cheap. He may have appeared in only 17 league games this past season, but Real Madrid isn’t going to let a 25-year-old fullback who likely has more than just a few admirers go for a cut-rate kind of price after he they signed him for over €31 million two summers ago. (All of this counting the whole non-EU part of the equation.) Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

The Viola set a €50m price-tag on the talent, who is fresh from an impressive European Under-21 Championship performance. He refused to sign a contract renewal and so is expected to be sold this summer. Chelsea, Inter, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich had also shown a strong interest in the 23-year-old, who can play a variety of forward and wide roles. It’s believed Juve pinpointed Bernardeschi after failing to lower Bayern Munich’s €50m asking price for Douglas Costa. Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti
