Juventus director general Beppe Marotta will reportedly meet Lazio owner Claudio Lotito over a potential move for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in June.

Despite the scheduling of such a meeting however, calciomercato.it reports that Le Aquile want to keep the highly-rated midfielder at all costs.

Arriving from Genk in summer 2015, the 22-year-old has impressed with his performances this term, and has scored four goals and provided four assists in 24 starts.

With this in mind, Lazio will look to tie down the player, with an improved deal on the table. The report suggests that Juventus will be undeterred by this and will seek to make a concrete offer in order to bring the Serbian to Turin this summer.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent assures “he’s totally dedicated to Lazio” amid rumours of a Juventus move.

It was reported earlier today that Bianconeri general manager Giuseppe Marotta would meet with Aquile President Claudio Lotito to discuss a deal.

However, the 22-year-old’s representative has assured that the midfielder is happy to stay where he is for the time being.

“His goal is clear and he’s totally dedicated to Lazio,” Mateja Kezman told Tuttomercatoweb.

“He wants to win the Coppa Italia and take Lazio into the Champions League, he’s continuing to work and growing day-by-day.

"He's doing well at the moment and it's normal that big clubs are paying attention to him, I have a lot of contacts and I've played for big clubs so people are calling.

"However, he's only thinking of Lazio. Soon we'll sit down with [Igli] Tare and [Claudio] Lotito to see what's best for the club and the player.

"I've said more than once that relations are good with Lazio, we'll find the best solution for everyone.

"After all, Sergej has three years left on his contract."

TRANSFER RUMOUR: ALVARO MORATA KEEN

ON SUMMER RETURN TO JUVENTUS

Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is reportedly keen to make a summer return to Juventus.

Italian publication Tuttosport have reported that Alvaro Morata is likely to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, and prefers a return to Juventus in the summer transfer window. Chelsea and Manchester United are also reportedly interested in securing his services.

Morata was only signed back from Juventus by Real Madrid last summer as Los Blancos exercised their buy-back option in his deal with the Italian champions. However, the second spell at the Santiago Bernabeu hasn’t quite been a happy one for the 24-year-old.

Morata has had to play second fiddle to Karim Benzema, as a result of which he has managed to start just 16 games across all competitions. But, his goalscoring record has still been impressive, with the Spain international scoring 18 goals – one more than Benzema has netted despite playing 1,000 more minutes.

Morata’s goalscoring record suggests that he is, perhaps, being hard done by by Zinedine Zidane, and as per the report, he is indeed unhappy at the Bernabeu. As a result, he is likely to leave Real Madrid in the summer in search of more regular game time.

If he does move away from the Spanish capital when the transfer window reopens in June, there will be no dearth of interest in him. Chelsea and Manchester United, in particular, have been the two clubs that have been linked most heavily with him, but they could be all set to face disappointment in his pursuit.

That is because Morata prefers a move to Juventus, where he spent two fruitful seasons, instead of the two Premier League heavyweights. Indeed, Morata was one of the go-to men for Massimiliano Allegri during his spell with the Bianconeri and was a regular in their first-team setup.

It is important to note, though, that post Morata’s departure Juventus bought Gonzalo Higuain, who has been at his prolific best for the Serie A champions. So, usurping the Argentine could prove to be a tough ask for the Spaniard.

But, Paulo Dybala is being linked with Real Madrid, and if the forward ends up moving to the Bernabeu in the summer, a position in the starting lineup could be up for grabs. It now remains to be seen how things develop in the coming months. For now, in all likelihood, Morata’s exit from Real Madrid is on the cards.

Agent: ‘SMS won’t go to Juventus’

http://www.football-italia.net/106160/agent-‘sms-won’t-go-juventus’

Jul 22, 2017

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent reiterates that the Lazio midfielder won’t join Juventus - “he’s not for sale at any price”.

A quote purporting to be from the player’s brother, Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, has been circulating on social media claiming Sergej “only wants Juventus”.

However, his representative has shot down such rumours in the past and has reiterated his stance today.

“There’s interest from many Spanish, English and Italian teams but we’re not going to leave Lazio,” Mateja Kerman told TuttoJuve.

“The lad is happy in the capital, Coach [Simone] Inzaghi and the club are doing great things for him and Sergej is growing every day.

“The truth is that he’s not for sale at any price right now, we want him to stay at Lazio and have fun over the next season.

“This season, Sergej needs to become a leader in his position in this team. He’s going to keep working hard every day, to improve and to help Lazio with his goals and assists.”

Add Mateo Kovacic to Juventus’ list

of reported midfield transfer targets

https://www.blackwhitereadallover.com/2017/8/8/16110586/mateo-kovacic-

juventus-real-madrid-2017-serie-a-la-liga-summer-transfer-rumors

Aug 8, 2017

We’ve been down this road before. Transfer targets come and go, some gain traction, others are basically force-fed to us by Tuttosport because they have nothing better to do when the transfer window has slow days.

So to see Mateo Kovacic being linked to Juventus isn’t something that is newfound transfer gossip being thrown out there. We were here just about 14 months ago.

No, this is not June 2016, obviously. Kovacic is another year older and another year separated from his days wearing an Inter jersey. But Kovacic, again, has emerged as the latest name to be linked to Juventus in the ever-growing central midfielder list that the Italian press has put together over the last couple of months.

A new name for Juventus midfield has emerged today. On top of N'Zonzi, Matuidi, Andre Gomes and Can now the bianconeri are pursuing Mateo Kovacic, a player they have been interested in since his time at Inter. So far Juventus have only contacted the midfielder's camp, while getting a deal done with Real Madrid is expected to be difficult, but should there be other potential developments on other situations in the future, the deal could take off.

(Source: Gianluca Di Marzio)

We know N’Zonzi. We know Matuidi. We know Andre Gomes and Emre Can. They’ve all been linked with a potential move to Juventus in the past few weeks and months. That’s no secret.

But could Kovacic be the best of the bunch?

If not the best, he’s certainly up there. And unlike all of those names previously mentioned, he knows what Serie A — and Juventus, too — is all about.

If Kovacic is really in the mix and becoming an option for Juve this summer, nobody expects the transfer negotiations with Real Madrid to be easy. And he’s not going to come cheap either no matter if it’s on a loan-with-option-to-buy Beppe Marotta Special or an outright sale. That’s no secret.

Kovacic to Juventus, though? Count me in.

As: Juve €75m for Kovacic rejected

http://www.football-italia.net/108398/juve-€75m-kovacic

Aug 19, 2017

Juventus offered €75m for Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic, claims Spanish paper As, but it was rejected.

According to Saturday’s edition of the newspaper, the Bianconeri made a proposal worth in the region of €75m for the Croatia international.

Still only 23 years old, Kovacic was bought by Inter from Dinamo Zagreb for €11m in January 2013 and sold to Real Madrid for €31m plus bonuses in the summer of 2015.

Although he struggled for playing time initially, he has moved on to Coach Zinedine Zidane’s radar as a regular.

This is why the Merengues are reported to have turned down the massive Juventus offer.

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić will

be Juventus’ top transfer target next summer

It’s Tuttosport. It’s the middle of October. It’s an international

break. But dammit, this makes a whole lot of sense.

https://www.blackwhitereadallover.com/2017/10/12/16462214/sergej

 -milinkovi-savic-lazio-juventus-2017-serie-a-transfer-rumors

Oct 12, 2017

A quick look to the calendar tells us there’s still quite a bit of time before Juventus actually does its first business of the summer of 2018. At least, that’s when they can officially buy and sell players — which is obviously we hope is something that turns into quality being added in droves and nobody of substance leaving once again.

Leave it to Tuttosport to start speculating IN OCTOBER as to who Juventus’ 2018 summer mercato will be centered around.

According to the Turin-based sports daily, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić is going to be that guy, with Juventus set on trying to pry the dynamic 22-year-old Serbian away from Claudio Lotito’s hands. And to have Milinković-Savić potentially wear those lovely black and white stripes of ours in the somewhat-near future, the cost of signing him would be a cool €80 million.

Let me repeat: EIGHTY MILLION EUROS.

Let me check ... yep, that’s a lot of money.

Throw out the price tag for a second here because who the heck knows how much it would ACTUALLY cost to sign Milinković-Savić next summer. Do it, because worrying about transfer fees right now is something that I don’t want to see take place.

I want to pose you this question: Could this be one of the most logical transfer rumors during an international break that Tuttosport has ever thrown out there?

Sure, this is the same Italian daily newspaper that linked Andres Iniesta with a move to Juventus for a decent amount of time this summer and then again not too long before he signed one final contract extension at Barcelona. This is the same paper that has thrown out baseless rumor after baseless and then recycled them time after time because that’s the way Tuttosport rolls.

But when it comes to Milinković-Savić, it makes a lot of sense. No, seriously. This is a Tuttosport rumor that makes a whoooooole lot of sense.

So much so that I’m sure there are plenty of folks who were hoping Juventus would have tried to sign Milinković-Savić this past summer.

Why?

Because Juventus’ midfield isn’t getting any younger, and at 22 years old, Milinković-Savić has only tapped his immense potential. He’s only getting better and will surely be moving onto bigger and brighter things in the next few years, if not sooner.

That’s why this Tuttosport rumor actually makes sense. And feel free to think about how many times in the past we’ve been able to say that about a rumor from said newspaper NINE MONTHS before the actual summer transfer window is set to begin.

‘Milinkovic-Savic happy at Lazio’

http://www.football-italia.net/111177/‘milinkovic-savic-happy-lazio’

Oct 12, 2017

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent denies reports the midfielder could join Juventus - “he’s very happy at Lazio”.

The Serbian international is seen as one of Serie A’s top young talents, with reports the Bianconeri are keen to bring him to Turin.

“It was enough to see Sergej on the pitch for 10 minutes during a Vojvodina youth team training session to understand his enormous potential,” Mateja Kezman, Milinkovic-Savic’s agent, recalled in an interview with Tuttosport.

“Sergej is special, he combines strength, speed and technique. He’s a top talent and he needed a club like Lazio and a Coach like [Simone] Inzaghi who is doing the best and the maximum for him.

“Juventus? Sergej is very happy at Lazio, and he renewed his contract not long ago.”

Pogba looks for United exit?

https://www.football-italia.net/117563/pogba-looks-united-exit

Feb 22, 2018

Less than two years after leaving Juventus in a world-record deal, Paul Pogba is being linked with a move away from Manchester United.

According to The Mirror, an unnamed representative of Pogba has reached out to several European clubs about the midfielder’s availability.

It comes amidst talk that his relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho is becoming strained.

Pogba has scored 12 goals and assisted 16 in his 82 appearances for the Red Devils since his €110m return from Juve in August 2016.

However, reports have emerged of disagreements between the Frenchman and manager Jose Mourinho over his best position.

Pogba also started United’s 0-0 draw with Sevilla in the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday as a substitute.

Pogba has Juventus clause?

https://www.football-italia.net/117620/pogba-has-juventus-clause

Feb 23, 2018

It’s reported there’s a clause which would allow Manchester United’s Paul Pogba to rejoin Juventus, but a deal is very unlikely.

The French midfielder joined the Red Devils from the Bianconeri in the summer of 2016 for what was then a world record fee of €105m plus another €5m in bonuses.

However, he has been repeatedly dropped by United manager Jose Mourinho in recent weeks, leading to rumours he’ll leave at the end of the season.

According to L’Équipe, there was a clause in the deal which took Pogba to Old Trafford which would allow Juve to buy him back for around €60m.

Even if this is the case though, his €12m wages wouldn’t be matched in Turin, and it’s not certain the Old Lady would take him back after he pushed for the move to England.

Lazio ‘want €100m for Milinkovic Savic’

https://www.football-italia.net/117938/lazio-want-100m-sms

March 2, 2018

Lazio are reportedly demanding €100m for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, potentially pricing out Juventus.

According to Tuttosport, the asking price reflects the regard Lazio President Claudio Lotito holds Milinkovic-Savic in.

However, that would leave Juve out of the running as the newspaper warns the Bianconeri are only prepared to offer €60m for the Serb.

Consequently, the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain could be set to battle it out for the signature of a player rated higher than Paul Pogba, albeit by his agent.

Juventus want Martial

https://www.football-italia.net/118551/juventus-want-martial

Mar 15, 2018

It’s thought Juventus are interested in Anthony Martial, but Manchester United would demand €65m [£57.6m] to sell him.

Pavel Nedved, the Bianconeri’s Vice-President was spotted meeting with Nelio Lucas of Doyen Sports last week, when Juve were in London to face Tottenham Hotspur.

Martial is one of Doyen’s clients, and Premium Sport reports that is is the young Frenchman who was up for discussion in London.

Contacts are continuing, but the stumbling block will be the Red Devils, who would demand around €65m to sell.

Martial’s contract expires in the summer of 2019, though there is an option for a further year.

Juventus push for Darmian

https://www.football-italia.net/118769/juventus-push-darmian

Mar 20, 2018

Juventus are reportedly close to Manchester United’s Matteo Darmian, as they look to strengthen at full-back.

Stephan Lichtsteiner and Kwadwo Asamoah are both out of contract in the summer, and it appears unlikely that either will sign a new deal.

Therefore, reports Tuttosport, the Bianconeri’s first priority in the summer will be to strengthen at full-back, with Darmian the top target.

It’s thought a deal should be fairly straightforward for the Italian international, who has been used sparingly by Jose Mourinho.

Leonardo Spinazzola will return from Atalanta, but Juve are also thought to be looking at Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin and Layvin Kurzawa of Paris Saint-Germain.

Juventus want Morata back

https://www.football-italia.net/119689/juventus-want-morata-back

Apr 10, 2018

It’s reported Juventus are interested in bringing Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata back to Turin this summer.

The Spanish international spent two seasons with the Bianconeri, but Real Madrid activated their buyback clause in the summer of 2016.

After just one season back at the Bernabeu, Morata was sold to Chelsea but the Blues almost certainly won’t qualify for the Champions League this season.

That will likely see Antonio Conte leave the club, and today’s Corriere dello Sport reports that could see Morata return to Juve.

The Bianconeri are keen to bring Morata back, the newspaper reports, but the stumbling block could be his wages.

The 25-year-old earns around €8m per season in London, which is more than Juve’s highest-earning player, Gonzalo Higuain, who earns €7.5m.

There is also competition from China, while Morata wouldn’t come cheap as Chelsea paid €80m for him under a year ago.

FIFA considers abolishing loans

https://www.football-italia.net/119701/fifa-considers-abolishing-loans

Apr 10, 2018

It’s reported that FIFA are considering reforming the loan system, or even scrapping it altogether.

The executive committee will debate new measures in October, after meetings between FIFPro [the players’ union], the European Club Association, the World League Forum and former stars such as Cafu, Zvonimir Boban, Edwin van der Sar and Marco van Basten.

According to France Football, one of the measures being considered is the reformation or even scrapping of the loan system.

The idea behind loans is to allow young players to develop with lower-level clubs, but world football’s governing body believes the system is now being exploited.

Big clubs are signing up large numbers of young players, only to loan them out and then sell them for a profit, often without them ever playing for the first team.

France Football points out that Juventus have loaned out 41 players this season, Udinese 27, Chelsea 22 and Manchester City 18.

As a result FIFA is considering bringing in new restrictions on loans, or even scrapping them altogether.

Juventus want Morata back

https://www.football-italia.net/120740/juventus-want-morata-back

May 1, 2018

Juventus are reportedly looking to bring Alvaro Morata back to Turin, on loan with an obligation to buy.

The Spanish striker spent two seasons with the Bianconeri, but Real Madrid activated their buyback clause in the summer of 2016.

Last summer they sold him to Chelsea, but after a good start to life in England the 25-year-old has struggled in the Premier League.

According to Tuttosport, the Blues are looking to sing Edinson Cavani from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, and the French club may well have to sell to meet their Financial Fair Play obligations.

As a result, Juve general manager Giuseppe Marotta is working to bring Morata back to Italy, with a similar formula to the deal which took Douglas Costa to Turin in the summer.

The Bianconeri are offering €15m to take Morata on loan for a season, with an obligation to buy for €45m in 2019.

PSG and Bayern Munich are also interested, but the striker may well be tempted by a reunion with the Old Lady.

Morata agrees Juve terms?

https://www.football-italia.net/121028/morata-agrees-juve-terms

May 7, 2018

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly agreed terms over a return to Juventus.

According to Rai Sport, the agreement was struck between Juve and Morata’s camp, with the Spaniard ‘ready to take a pay cut’ to re-join the Bianconeri.

The former Real Madrid attacker currently earns €9m a season at Chelsea, while the Old Lady’s best-paid player is Gonzalo Higuain at €7.5m.

However, the broadcaster warns Chelsea may be looking to recoup somewhere close to the €66m they spent on Morata last summer.

One solution could be a two-year loan with an option to buy in 2020, similar to the deal they negotiated for Juan Cuadrado.

Morata won two Scudetti and reached a Champions League Final with Juve between 2014 and 2016, while his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge - despite yielding 15 goals - has been plagued by fitness problems.

'Enormous interest' in Milinkovic-Savic

Juventus, Pogba vs Milinkovic: come si fa?

https://www.football-italia.net/121753/enormous-interest-milinkovic-savic

May 22, 2018

“There is enormous interest” in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, said the Lazio midfielder’s agent, but “he has plenty of time to play in the Champions League.”

The Serbia international’s future was put back into doubt after a dramatic final round of the season, which saw Inter snatch fourth place with a 3-2 result at the Olimpico.

“He still has a long contract with Lazio, but as I said a few days ago, there is enormous interest in Sergej,” representative Mateja Kezman told Calciomercato.it.

“In football, you never know what might happen from one day to the next, so we’ll see what the future holds. He was certainly one of the best players in Serie A this season and has the potential to become the best in the world in his role.”

There are proposals believed to be from Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, but missing out on the Champions League won’t necessarily be a factor.

“Obviously playing in the Champions League is the dream of everyone who plays football, but he is only 23 years old and has plenty of time to achieve that.”

‘Anything can happen with Milinkovic’

https://www.football-italia.net/122092/anything-can-happen-milinkovic

May 29, 2018

Lazio’s spokesman admits ‘anything can happen’ with regards to Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s future at the club.

Speculation linking Milinkovic-Savic with Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Real Madrid has intensified after Lazio’s failure to qualify for the Champions League, but Arturo Diaconale warned the Aquile would only consider ‘obscene’ offers.

“I can’t confirm or deny anything. We’ll see what happens in the market,” he told RMC Sport.

“The style of Lazio is to keep our heads down. We don’t do bombastic announcements, which are very often not followed by concrete outcomes; only silent activity, which produces important results.

“It depends a lot on what Tare and Lotito can do, regardless of Milinkovic. If an obscene offer arrives, it’ll be evaluated, but he won’t determine what we do in the market.

“We’re looking to strengthen the team so we can also compete for the Champions League next season, while sticking with Inzaghi and Milinkovic.

“After that, anything can happen…”

‘Juve can’t afford Milinkovic!’

https://www.football-italia.net/122118/juve-cant-afford-milinkovic

May 30, 2018

Lazio President Claudio Lotito insists Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will not be joining Juventus. “They don’t have the money to buy him!”

Lotito’s remarks come less than a day after he affirmed Lazio had rejected an offer of €110m for Milinkovic-Savic last summer.

“There’s no way he can go to Juventus because Juve don’t have the money to buy Milinkovic Savic,” the patron told Tuttosport.

Paris Saint-Germain were linked with a €170m bid for the Serbian star back in December, although it remains to be seen if the Aquile will cash in to that extent.

Darmian set for Juve medical

hhttps://www.football-italia.net/122211/darmian-set-juve-medical

Jun 1, 2018

Matteo Darmian will undergo a medical to complete his €12m transfer from Manchester United to Juventus, claim Sportitalia.

The full-back was spotted in Milan today and is expected to have his medical tests tomorrow in Turin.

A deal has been worked out several days ago worth a total of €12m.

It is a return to Italy and to this city for Darmian, who was sold by Juve’s rivals Torino for €18m in 2015.

He struggled for regular playing time and this season managed two assists in 17 competitive games for United.

Now 28, Darmian is prized for his versatility, as he can play at right-back, left-back, central defence or in a more advanced wing-back role of a five-man midfield.

Pjaca agent: 'No Lazio links'

https://www.football-italia.net/122324/pjaca-agent-no-lazio-links

Jun 2, 2018

Marko Pjaca’s agent insists talk of using him as part of a Juventus bid for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is “fantasy football.”

Tuttosport claimed today that the winger, returning from injury and a six-month loan at Schalke 04, could help lower the €100m asking price for SMS.

“It’s fantasy football,” agent Marko Nalatelic told Mediaset Premium and Cittaceleste.it.

“It’s not that the move is impossible, but I haven’t heard anything about it. Marko’s future is at Juve, he wants to win over Max Allegri and impress from pre-season training.

“In any case, it’s too early to say, as his destiny is connected to other comings and goings at Juve.”

Juventus and Napoli are on high alert after reports Bayern Munich are ready to sell defender Jerome Boateng.

The Germany international turns 30 in September and has been at Bayern since 2011 after a year at Manchester City.

According to German newspaper Bild, Boateng is on the market, even though he is under contract until June 2021.

Juve are ready to swoop as a replacement for Medhi Benatia, who has been linked with Arsenal and Olympique Marseille.

Napoli have to be an option too, as he’d be reunited with ex-Bayern Munich Coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Jun 4, 2018

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata explains why he was pictured in Turin - “we’re here to attend a birthday party”.

The Spanish international was pictured with Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici in Milan last month, immediately sparking rumours of a return to Juventus.

Over the weekend he was pictured in Turin with his wife Alice, and the forward has explained why he was in Italy this time.

“We’re here to attend a birthday party,” Morata told SportMediaset.

“Right now I don’t know anything about my future. Right now I’m just thinking about my holidays.”
