The Dutchman has faced Juve many times in his playing career, but this will be his first as a Coach. “We will have a packed San Siro behind us, just as we did against Atletico Madrid. The lads really need it,” he said in his Press conference.http://markting10.nl/ Mario Balotelli remains in doubt after sustaining a shoulder injury in the 1-0 Champions League defeat to Atleti. “It is also important to have all the players at my disposal, as everyone trained regularly apart from Balotelli and Giampaolo Pazzini. Balo needs to be examined today, while Mattia De Sciglio and Pazzini are available, albeit with a bit of pain. “Pazzini is more experienced than Balotelli and is already a complete player, whereas Mario is still learning. Giampaolo’s motivation is a guarantee.”http://markting10.nl/ Seedorf was asked whether this showdown with leaders Juventus represents a test of Milan’s maturity. “I think the trip to Sampdoria was more than this game. Samp were unbeaten at home in 10 games, whereas against Juve it is an opportunity. “This is my first Milan-Juve as a Coach. I feel honoured and privileged to experience it at such a young age. For the team this is the chance to put in a great performance, build confidence and help us face the rest of the season in the best way.http://markting10.nl/ “Antonio Conte has done a great job and I tip my hat to him. Since winning the title in the first season, Juventus have only improved. When you win the self-confidence grows and players get more accustomed to working together. “I have never worked with Conte, but he certainly helped to renew Italian football. I consider him a very positive influence, like Vincenzo Montella at Fiorentina. I still have everything to prove and am trying to learn quickly. “Serie A is the toughest League in the world precisely because every Coach is well-drilled in tactics. In terms of players the level of individual stars might’ve dropped because the money migrated elsewhere, but it’s still a very high level.”http://markting10.nl/ Seedorf confirmed it is “very probable” Andrea Poli will start tomorrow evening, but shrugged off questions about referees or the infamous Sulley Muntari phantom goal that wasn’t awarded in Milan-Juve. “Muntari’s goal? I don’t remember anything about that. I don’t want to cause controversy, but I share Montella’s comment that we must all try to be united. Controversy is a headache. We should have technology to help referees, who in Italy are very good, but until we do then we’re always going to have these debates.”http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

It’s true Milan are a good team, but we have no concerns.http://markting10.nl/ “The objective is to win the title and for that winning at San Siro is fundamental. We are the team to beat and it won’t be easy for anyone.” Llorente has been won over by Bianconeri boss Antonio Conte since joining as a free agent from Athletic Bilbao last summer. “I am happy to have him as a Coach. I needed to work very hard at the start to assimilate the playing style of the team, but that was the way it had to be.http://markting10.nl/ “I learned so much with Conte and he really surprised me.” Despite 12 goals in 29 official club appearances this season, the 29-year-old did not receive a call-up for Spain’s friendly against Italy next Wednesday. “There’s a long way to go before the World Cup. I have to think about doing well with Juventus, which right now is the most important thing.”http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

The team was rotated somewhat on Thursday, meaning the impact of having just three days of rest before facing the Rossoneri, who did not have a midweek match, could be negated. Paul Pogba was substituted after 37 minutes, and Andrea Pirlo made a second-half appearance as a substitute to keep his fitness ticking over.http://markting10.nl/ Claudio Marchisio is getting in a rhythm too, and will be a fine replacement for the suspended Arturo Vidal. Dani Osvaldo and Sebastian Giovinco impressed on Thursday, demonstrating great chemistry after originally playing together for the Italy under-21s. But it will surely not be enough for Antonio Conte to consider dropping either Carlos Tevez or Fernando Llorente—at least at this stage. Should the pair continue to apply pressure by scoring goals, there may be a decision later in the season to be made.http://markting10.nl/ Mauricio Isla did excellently on the right, but Stephan Lichtsteiner is one of Conte's most trusted players, and the Chilean will continue to be used sparingly whenever the Swiss international requires a rest. Federico Peluso was less impressive and even if Kwadwo Asamoah fails to recover from the injury that kept him out of the Europa League match this week, Conte will probably opt for either Martin Caceres or Angelo Ogbonna. Whoever does not start on the left between the Uruguayan and the Italian internationals could complete the back three with Leonardo Bonucci and the recovering Andrea Barzagli—with Giorgio Chiellini set to miss out again from a lack of match fitness after his most recent injury.http://markting10.nl/ It is the third leg of a tough week for the Bianconeri, who faced Torino in the Derby della Mole, a hostile trip to Trabzon and now a dangerous league match against Milan—who may rise to the occasion, despite their league position. The Giallorossi will be hoping that Clarence Seedorf's men can cause an upset and preserve some sort of title race, but if Juve can overcome this one, then the third successive title will almost certainly be theirs.Expected line-up: Gianluigi Buffon; Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzagli, Angelo Ogbonna; Stephan Lichtsteiner, Claudio Marchisio, Paul Pogba, Andrea Pirlo, Martin Caceres; Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Having won four out of six matches so far, Seedorf will surely be looking to extend his run and climb up the table.http://markting10.nl/ Juventus, on the other hand, have been an unstoppable machine for the past couple of seasons. Under Conte, they have been a totally different side and their Scudetto victories only proves that point. After a relatively slow start to this season, Juventus have rightfully reclaimed their top spot in the peninsula.Team News and Tactical Brief MILAN Milan will be missing the likes of El Shaarawy, Cristante, Silvestre, Abbiati, Balotelli and Zapata for this match due to injury and Muntari due to suspension. The latest addition to this long injury list is Balotelli, who injured his shoulder in the UEFA Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.http://markting10.nl/ Seedorf has experimented with the Milan set-up after his arrival but has more or less favored the 4-2-3-1 formation with two holding players in the middle of the park. However, even with two central enforcers, Milan have struggled when it has come to performing their defensive duties this season. Under Seedorf, Milan have been a different attacking side, but their defensive lapses have cost them on many occasions. Currently, Milan have kept two successive clean sheets, but against Juventus, they are sure to concede given their defensive frailties. The absence of Muntari opens up one holding midfielder spot in the starting line-up. Seedorf will field a 4-2-3-1 formation with Amelia under the bar. In the absence of few key players, some due to suspension, others due to injury, Seedorf has the chance to try out new faces both in midfield and attack. The back line will be formed by De Sciglio on the right, Emanuelson on the left, with Bonera and Rami forming the central defensive pair. The two holding midfielders for this match will be Montolivo and Essien.http://markting10.nl/ The midfield will be formed by the trio of Poli on the right, Taarabt on the left with Kaka playing through the center. In all likeliness, neither Honda nor Robinho will start this match. In the absence of Balotelli, Pazzini will feature as the lone striker, although he will be wearing a protective mask.Probable Starting Line-up (4-2-3-1): Amelia(GK); De Sciglio, Bonera, Rami, Emanuelson; Montolivo, Essien; Poli, Kaka, Taarabt; Pazzinihttp://markting10.nl/ JUVENTUS Juventus will miss the services of Asamoah, Chiellini, Vucinic and Pepe for this match due to injury and Vidal due to suspension. After a relatively slow start when Roma were running crazy with the rest of the Serie A teams, Juventus has slowly and silently taken the top position. With their Champions League dreams lying in shatters at least for this season, they have been quite strong in the Europa League, as was seen from their recent encounter against Trabzonspor. Conte has been in the news recently, but it must be said that no matter what he says, his team is still the champion of Italy and is still the team to beat in the peninsula. Juventus are very strong in shooting from direct free kicks, finishing scoring chances and attacking down the wings. In addition to all these, they have wonderful individuals who can create chances via through balls or individual skills. Playing a short passing game, Juventus often tries to play inside the opposition half, mainly playing through the middle of the park. However, they are weak in aerial duels and sometimes they commit far too many individual errors. Juventus are extremely strong in the attacking department, and although they are equally adept defensively, Milan will not sit back in this match.http://markting10.nl/ Juventus will deploy a 3-5-2 formation for this match with Buffon in goal. The defense line sees Barzagli on the right, Caceres on the left with Bonucci playing through the center. The midfield will be formed by Lichtsteiner and Marchisio on the right, Pogba and Peluso on the left with Pirlo acting as the midfield anchor-cum-deep-lying play-maker. Marchisio played in the ‘Pirlo role’ sometime back and it can be expected that he will drop down a bit deeper once the match progresses. The forward line is formed by Llorente and Tevez.Probable Starting Line-up (3-5-2): Buffon(GK); Barzagli, Bonucci, Caceres; Lichtsteiner, Marchisio, Pirlo, Pogba, Peluso; Llorente, Tevezhttp://markting10.nl/ Player to Watch Out For Adel Taarabt (Milan) Arrival on loan from QPR, Taarabt made his mark at Milan from the word go. Not only has heTaarabt scored goals, but also provided for his teammates. His tireless running and trickery have been admired by the San Siro faithful and according to the player, he wants to show his best in the coming months so that Milan will sign him permanently come this summer. Not only is he flamboyant, as he showed against Napoli, his flair and footballing instincts too have been standout features so far. And that is one of the main reasons he has featured for Milan so much since his arrival in January. So far, Taarabt has played on the left and also on the right, but according to the player, he would prefer to play through the middle, right behind the striker. However, he does tend to go over the top – a feature disliked by his previous managers as well as fans. Milan will be hoping that he will perform big in the coming months, and thereby take some pressure off Balotelli.http://markting10.nl/ Prediction Milan 1 – 1 Juventus Milan need points from this match to prove that they are indeed improving under their new coach, Seedorf. After dishing out probably one of their best performance of this season against Sampdoria, Milan will be on the lookout to take the game to the reigning champions. Juventus, on the other hand, will surely be looking to take all three points on offer and increase their lead at the top of the Serie A table.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Mar 1, 2014 AC Milan face a stern test to maintain their mini-revival under Clarence Seedorf on Sunday when Serie A leaders Juventus visit San Siro.http://markting10.nl/ Under the stewardship of the Dutchman, the Rossoneri have played six league matches, winning four and losing just once in a 3-1 reverse at Napoli. Despite the upturn in fortunes, a massive 31-point gap separates Milan, who have endured a disappointing campaign on the whole and sit ninth, from the Bianconeri. In what has traditionally been a match that has helped determine the destination of the Serie A title, Juve will start as strong favourites having not been beaten in the league since October, a run that spans 17 matches.http://markting10.nl/ Milan have serious doubts over the fitness of striker Mario Balotelli, who picked up a shoulder injury in the recent Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid. The Italy international trained separately from the rest of the squad on Friday. Stephan El Shaarawy is still absent, as well as goalkeeper Christian Abbiati. Juve are without influential midfielder Arturo Vidal who will sit out the match through suspension. Defender Giorgio Chiellini is also likely to miss the clash as is wide player Kwadwo Asamoah.http://markting10.nl/ They are, however, able to call on one of the league's deadliest partnerships in the form of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente. The duo have claimed 24 league goals between them this season and were rested for Juventus' midweek 2-0 victory at Trabzonspor in the Europa League.http://markting10.nl/ Tevez and Llorente can therefore expect to be fresh and ready, along with influential midfielder Paul Pogba, who was withdrawn in the first half on Thursday once Juventus had effectively confirmed their progression to the last-16. Pablo Osvaldo is another forward option for Conte, with the on-loan Southampton man having bagged his second goal for the club against Trabzonspor.http://markting10.nl/ Head to Head Serie A - Oct 6, 2013 - Juventus 3 - 2 AC Milan Serie A - Apr 21, 2013 - Juventus 1 - 0 AC Milan Coppa Italia - Jan 9, 2013 - Juventus 2 - 1 AC Milan Serie A - Nov 25, 2012 - AC Milan 1 - 0 Juventus Coppa Italia - Mar 20, 2012 - Juventus 2 - 2 AC MilanLast Five Matches AC MILAN Feb 23, 2014 - Sampdoria 0 - 2 AC Milan - Serie A Feb 19, 2014 - AC Milan 0 - 1 Atletico Madrid - UCL Feb 14, 2014 - AC Milan 1 - 0 Bologna - Serie A Feb 8, 2014 - SSC Napoli 3 - 1 AC Milan - Serie A Feb 1, 2014 - AC Milan 1 - 1 Torino - Serie AJUVENTUS Feb 27, 2014 - Trabzonspor AŞ 0 - 2 Juventus - EL Feb 23, 2014 - Juventus 1 - 0 Torino - Serie A Feb 20, 2014 - Juventus 2 - 0 Trabzonspor AŞ - EL Feb 16, 2014 - Juventus 3 - 1 Chievo - Serie A Feb 9, 2014 - Hellas Verona 2 - 2 Juventus - Serie Ahttp://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Having recorded four wins, one draw and one loss in their last six games, they now lie just five points from city rivals Inter, who occupy the final European spot in fifth position. The Diavolo’s participation in the Champions League is hanging by a thread despite their positive showing against Atletico Madrid last week, and they displayed great resilience to bounce back in time for Week 25’s away trip to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, as they defeated Sampdoria 2-0, and put in a performance which exemplified the side’s new found identity and consistency under their rookie tactician. January loan signings Adel Taarabt and Adil Rami were the best players in black and red, and both got on the score sheet either side of the interval to lead Milan to their second consecutive victory - the first time they have managed to string together two wins all season.http://markting10.nl/ Seedorf’s arrival has undoubtedly given the club increased impetus, but even as the Rossoneri welcome back Mattia De Sciglio, Mario Balotelli, Robinho and Valter Birsa from the treatment room, they may be hard pressed to conquer the champions of Italy. Juventus are at a distinct disadvantage though, as their ongoing Europa League commitments will see them playing five games in just 16 days, with the second leg of their Round of 32 tie against Trabzonspor having taken place just three days before the clash with Milan. Adding to this, the Bianconeri should face an intimidating atmosphere at San Siro when they come to visit, even if they arrive on the back of an imperious run of 17 games unbeaten, and have only fallen to defeat once in the League this season.http://markting10.nl/ The Piedmont-based outfit’s latest taste of victory came at home against an in-form Torino, courtesy of a sumptuous first half strike from Carlos Tevez, as they overcame the Granata 1-0 in the season’s second Derby della Mole. Juve will have to do without key midfielder Arturo Vidal, who is serving a one match suspension, although Kwadwo Asamoah could make a return from a thigh injury to feature in the game, as the Old Lady attempt to continue their seemingly unstoppable surge towards a third straight Scudetto.http://markting10.nl/ Keep an eye on: Adel Taarabt (Milan) – The 24-year-old January arrival from QPR has been somewhat of a revelation at Milanello since he swapped the English Championship for the Italian Serie A, leading the Rossoneri to seriously consider taking up their option of signing him permanently. After scoring just eight minutes into his debut against Napoli, he carried his blistering form into subsequent matches, putting in energetic, all action displays full of guile, finding the back of the net against Sampdoria last week to make it two goals in just three League appearances. The talented Moroccan clearly realises the chance he has been given, and is well and truly grabbing it with both hands.Form Guide: Milan (W D L W W) Juventus (D W D W W) Last season: Milan 1-0 Juventus Stat fact: The 6-1 drubbing Juventus inflicted on the Rossoneri during the 1996-97 season is the highest scoring edition of this fixture in the last 50 years, when goals from Christian Vieri and Zinedine Zidane, amongst others, delivered a devastating away victory which many Juventini probably recall fondly to this day.http://markting10.nl/ MILAN (probable): Ameila; Emanuelson, Rami, Mexes, De Sciglio; Montolivo, De Jong, Kaka, Taarabt, Honda; Balotelli JUVENTUS (probable): Buffon; Chiellini, Bonucci, Barzagli; Asamoah, Marchisio, Pogba, Lichtsteiner, Pirlo; Llorente, Tevezhttp://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Mar 1, 2014 AC Milan midfielder Andrea Poli believes striker Giampaolo Pazzini can inspire his side victory over Juventus on Sunday.http://markting10.nl/ The Rossoneri have endured a disappointing season so far, lying ninth in Serie A after 25 games, while Juve sit nine points clear at the top over Roma and look to be closing in on their third straight league title. But Poli believes that, in the probable absence of the injured Mario Balotelli, his fellow ex-Sampdoria star can step up and upset the reigning champions at San Siro. "I say Pazzini," Poli told La giornalaccio rosa dello Sport when asked who could fire Milan past Juve this weekend. "He, like Balotelli, can always make a difference.http://markting10.nl/ "Juve have dominated the league in the last two-and-a-half years, but the points count only up to a certain point. Last year I beat them with Sampdoria, both home and away. We will try to win." The 24-year-old also reserved special praise for new boss Clarence Seedorf, who he says is unlike anyone else under whom he’s worked due to the way he man manages his players.http://markting10.nl/ "Seedorf focuses a lot on psychology," he said. Mar 1, 2014 Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo says a victory over Juventus on Sunday is just what the club need to get them back on track.http://markting10.nl/ A difficult first-half to the season culminated in the dismissal of former coach Massimiliano Allegri, who was replaced by Clarence Seedorf in January. The Rossoneri have won four of their six Serie A games since the Dutchman’s arrival and Montolivo believes victory over the reigning champions will give Milan a timely boost. "A win against a big team is needed,” he told Milan Channel. "Regardless of the adversary, the growth [with a new 4-2-3-1 system] has been evident, in terms of balance most of all.http://markting10.nl/ "Obviously if we defend better then we attack better and results come. We’ve seen this in the last few games and, in this sense, Juventus will be a good test to consolidate this growth." Antonio Conte’s side have claimed back-to-back Serie A titles, sit nine points ahead of second-placed Roma going into the weekend and are unbeaten in 17 league games, but Montolivo believes his side have what it takes to halt the Old Lady. "We have to be ready, we have to climb back up the table to create enthusiasm and self-esteem. We have the quality to cause Juventus problems," he said.http://markting10.nl/ "It’s not definite that we’ll be out of Europe next season. Mar 1, 2014 AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf believes that while Mario Balotelli is a player of great potential, Giampaolo Pazzini is a more reliable option up front.http://markting10.nl/ Both strikers are minor fitness doubts for Sunday's Serie A showdown with league leaders Juventus at San Siro, as Balotelli is struggling with a shoulder problem and Pazzini is still feeling the effects of a broken nose. Seedorf is optimistic that both players will be fit to face the champions but hinted that Pazzini's availability is of greater importance for the Rossoneri. "We’ll see about Balotelli today," the Dutchman told reporters on Saturday. "Pazzini is feeling some pain as well but he should make it.http://markting10.nl/ "Pazzini has more experience than Balotelli and where Balotelli has space to grow, Pazzini provides more of a guarantee." Seedorf is also hopeful that Mattia De Sciglio and Michael Essien will be in the right condition to feature against the Bianconeri. "I think De Sciglio will be available for selection even though he’s still feeling some pain [in his ankle]," the Milan boss explained.http://markting10.nl/ "Essien is doing well and we have to remember that he has to play against Ateltico [Madrid in the Champions League] as well. He could start the match tomorrow [sunday] and we’ll decide on that today." Mar 1, 2014 AC Milan have confirmed that star striker Mario Balotelli has been ruled out of Sunday's Serie A showdown with Juventus at San Siro.http://markting10.nl/ The Italy international suffered a shoulder injury in last week's 1-0 loss at home to Atletico Madrid and has been omitted from Clarence Seedorf's 23-strong squad for the visit of the Italian champions. In addition, Balotelli will play no part in his country's friendly clash with Spain at the Vicente Calderon on Wednesday, with Milan's focus now on getting the 23-year-old fit for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie with the Rojiblancos on March 11. However, in a boost for the Rossoneri, veteran forward Giampaolo Pazzini has been included, after being cleared to wear a mask to protect the broken nose he suffered at Sampdoria last weekend.http://markting10.nl/ Full-back Mattia De Sciglio is also available for selection after recovering from a minor ankle problem. Milan's eagerly-awaited meeting with Juventus is scheduled to kick off at the Giuseppe Meazza at 20:45 CET.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Mar 1, 2014 Fernando Llorente believes Juventus' clash with AC Milan on Sunday is crucial to their hopes of winning Serie A.http://markting10.nl/ The Bianconeri sit eight points ahead of second-placed Roma in Serie A, but Llorente insists the Italian champions cannot take their foot off the pedal against Clarence Seedorf's recovering outfit. "We do not fear anybody and are going to San Siro in order to win, even if Milan are improving under Seedorf," the 29-year-old told Sport Mediaset. "We know how important this game is, as it’s a decisive game for the Scudetto. Milan are a good team, but we have no concerns.http://markting10.nl/ "Our aim is to win the title and for that a win at San Siro is crucial. We are the team to beat and it won’t be easy for anyone." The striker moved to Turin on a free transfer last summer and has progressed into a key element of Antonio Conte's squad, something he hopes stands him in good stead in his bid to make the World Cup with Spain. "I am happy to have Conte as coach. I needed to work very hard at the start to assimilate the playing style of the team, but that was the way it had to be," he continued.http://markting10.nl/ "There’s a long way to go before the World Cup. I have to think about doing well with Juventus, which right now is the most important thing." New AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf has inspired a mini revival at the Rossoneri lately with Milan losing just once in the six games the Dutchman has been in charge, but the newbie manager faces his hardest test yet by far as his side comes up against the league's unstoppable force in Juventus. Juve have stretched out a huge 17 match unbeaten match since their one and only loss in the league this season to Fiorentina back in October. Juventus come into this game off the back of a 2-0 victory against Trabzonspor in the Europa League with a team that even lacked the Italian champion's first choice strikeforce in Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente as both were rested. Juve's new on-loan striker Pablo Osvaldo picked up his second goal for the team in Turkey and adds another dimension to a powerful attacking line that could be very effective against a Milan back line that has been very leaky and unreliable this season so far.http://markting10.nl/ Christian Abbiati should return for Milan after recovering from an illness, but there is some potentially devastating news for Seedorf and co as Mario Balotelli may be forced to sit out after struggling with a shoulder injury the striker picked up against Athletico Madrid. Giampaolo Pazzini may have some huge shoes to fill on Sunday, leaving Seedorf wishing he had the same sort of attacking option that Conte has at Juventus. There is once disappointment for Juventus though with their midfield maestro Arturo Vidal being suspended for the tie, but with the likes of Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchiso and Paul Pogba ready to be the three in Juve's midfield, even Vidal admits his side should do just fine and 'as good' without him. Conte will also still be missing his key centre-half in Giorgio Chiellini, so Angelo Ogbonna should deputise. Sulley Muntari is still suspended for the home side.http://markting10.nl/ Last meeting: Juventus 3-2 AC Milan (6th October 2013) - Pirlo 15', Giovinco 69', Chiellini 75'; Muntari 1', 90'Author's Prediction: AC Milan 0-1 Juventushttp://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Serie A fixtures are always a tactical affair, a chess match between two coaches who look to find the opponents' weakness under any circumstance.http://markting10.nl/ Unfortunately for Rossoneri fans, coach Clarence Seedorf is still finding himself as a coach and growing pains will continue as he looks to morph the team into one that's capable of playing a highly offensive 4-2-3-1. With a plethora of interesting tactical battles and matchups, let's take a look at some of the ones that will most likely decide the outcome:http://markting10.nl/ Rami vs. Llorente Adil Rami has undoubtedly been Milan's best defender since joining from Valencia, and he'll be the man who has to defend the tower of Juventus known as Fernando Llorente. The hulking Spanish striker has 10 goals in the season, with nearly half of them coming from headers. Interestingly enough, one of Rami's best attributes is his ability to defend in the air. He did a great job against Diego Costa in the Champions League clash between Milan and Atletico Madrid.http://markting10.nl/ Taarabt vs. Lichtsteiner One of Milan's best weapons going into the match against the Bianconeri will be Adel Taarabt. The Moroccan playmaker has shined since joining from Fulham in the January transfer window, silencing plenty of critics who lambasted him for being lazy and disruptive. Taarabt has been deployed as a left attacking midfielder in Seedorf's 4-2-3-1, so he'll most likely go up against Juventus' energetic right wing-back Stephan Lichtsteiner. This battle on the flank will be telling of how Milan's chances will be, considering that Taarabt has been a catalyst in both scoring and setting up teammates since joining.http://markting10.nl/ Seedorf vs. Conte Antonio Conte has been coaching for nearly seven years after hanging up the boots and ending his illustrious career. Clarence Seedorf, on the other hand, has only a handful of matches under his belt as he transitions from being a player to pacing on the sidelines. Conte's 3-5-2 remains unchanged, as it has been the blueprint for his success domestically. It must be noted that this scheme hasn't provided sparkling return in European competitions. Look for Juventus' midfield to overrun the possession-happy Milan, similar to the way Napoli did. Seedorf will once again try to use two or three attacking midfielders who aren't noted for their pace or work rate on the defensive end, and it could prove tricky against the box-to-box options at Conte's disposal.http://markting10.nl/ Conclusion This will be a match that will be won in the center of the park. Assuming a refereeing controversy doesn't take place, expect the possession to be split down the middle, with Milan taking plenty of shots from outside the penalty box. Juventus, on the other hand, will like their chances against the porous Milan defense. The duo of Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez is tied for the highest scoring in Italy—with 24 goals—alongside Torino pair Alessio Cerci and Ciro Immobile. The absences of Mario Balotelli and Arturo Vidal weigh equally for both sides, as they've been focal figures of their respective teams.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

While one team lives of European success, the other is the Old Lady of domestic glory. Two historically prestigious sides that have both lent a hand to the success of the Italian National Team, there’s perhaps no more triumphant two clubs in Italy than AC Milan and Juventus. Each match, regardless of where the two are in the table, is contested passionately. The result, the performance as well as every refereeing decision is scrutinised heavily. It is a game that enchants the fans, the professionals and the neutrals amongst us and to clarify this very point, one need only look to the fact that the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza is practically sold out. Milan only managed to sell less than 40,000 tickets for their match against Roma, the game against Napoli saw less than 60,000 tickets sold while even the game against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League only brought in 65,000 eager spectators. For their showdown against the Bianconeri on Sunday night, 70,000 tickets have already been purchased and it’s expected more will be snapped up before Sunday evening.http://markting10.nl/ A clash of the titans, this match in particular isn’t merely a game pitting XI against XI, it’s a match that will see two coaches who personified their respective teams’ philosophies engage in a tactical battle. Antonio Conte was a Juve player for 13 years, Clarence Seedorf a Milan man for 10. They have won countless titles with their own teams and both possessed the potential to be a top class coach in the future when they were merely boys on the pitch. In Conte’s case, two Scudetti and perhaps another on the way is proof of his excellence. Seedorf has only just come in to steady what was perceived to be a sinking Milan ship and the performance, perhaps more than the results have certainly improved. While Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan were always side who knew how to hold possession, boasting the best stats in Serie A, they proved ineffective in the attacking phase of the game and poor defensively. Set-pieces demonstrated a level of confusion at the back that is not expected from a big team, certainly not an Italian one. Midfielders failed to pick up runs, defenders were unsure of their duty and the side conceded far too many goals to secure the points required.http://markting10.nl/ Under the Dutchman, things have improved, especially at the back. Allegri’s Milan conceded 30 in 19 matches, averaging 1.57 goals a game, Seedorf’s side have conceded five goals in six, making for a better average. The return of Mattia Di Sciglio from injury and Adel Rami’s arrival have raised the overall quality of the side but one must credit the manager for the manner in which he has communicated his ideas and strategies. Yet, the defence could still do with more work but it’s the attack that interests the new tactician the most. Seeking to create a side that attack with fluidity and cohesion in a 4-2-3-1 shape, the Dutchman is careful to point out he isn’t shackled by a set formation, or a particular strategy. He’s happy to change both the tactics and personnel against various opponents to make the most of his player’s strengths and to expose the weaknesses of his adversaries.http://markting10.nl/ “Do you know what the truth is," Asked Seedorf of the journalists before him. “In modern football there are only systems for the defensive side of the game. In attack, there is total fluidity, six players who move and interchange constantly without there being an out and out reference point.” His current side have already begun to show early signs of development, proving more efficient in the final third of the pitch. Yet, when looking at the players he has at his disposal, it’s clear they require a step up in quality. There isn’t a true creative spark in that team that uses his intelligence to exploit the skills of those around him while Mario Balotelli infuriates at times. Technical and skilful, one cannot doubt his ability but the striker must work harder to push opposing centre-backs back and press from the front. At times, he drops back too deep when the players around him are looking for the reference point to deliver that cross or perfect through ball.http://markting10.nl/ Unfortunately, he will not be available for the big spectacle, again. Both in April 2013 and in October 2013, he was suspended from the games against Juventus. This time around, he’s injured but the Rossoneri will have Giampaolo Pazzini available -- a player who is both tactically intelligent and very hardworking. Tactics and strategies aside, Milan vs. Juventus should be about surrendering to the emotions felt on such an occasion as this will prove to be an interesting battle between two remarkable teams and two intelligent former players.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Then Sebastian Giovinco puts in a Man of the Match performance, showing the kind of skill and intelligence we all know he has in him, though the cosmos (or poor finishing) sadly refused him a goal of his own. And on top of that, the victory means that Juventus play Bianconeri haters Fiorentina in the Round of 16. For a second, we might even forget there’s a Scudetto race. And yet the demanding Serie A schedule moves on — and next up are age-old rivals Milan, who despite being 31 points behind Juve in the campionato have benefited from a slight resurgence under new coach and old player Clarence Seedorf. If it’s true that Milan are having a bit of a see-saw season (horrible domestically, but the only Italian team still in the Champions League), it’s also true that Juve can bring out the best in them.http://markting10.nl/ I would say “Bianconeri, beware!” but Antonio Conte is working overtime as we speak to dispatch the Rossoneri, knowing that if Juve do exactly that, they’ll be keeping another group of red devils — Roma — at bay for another week. And after the lackluster Turin Derby, where a Carlos Tevez wonder-strike and a fortunate non-penalty were the only events of note, Juve will certainly look for a more emphatic result. Before we begin, a shout-out to the spirited Trabzonspor crowd (excluding the knuckleheads who threw those flares in Turin), who kept cheering and bouncing even when the tie was beyond lost. And bravo to their erratic drumming corps, who via U.S. TV sounded like a bootleg version of a Nine Inch Nails demo. Interesting!http://markting10.nl/ Milan Updates: Vidal Suspended, Chiellini and Asamoah Doubtful Despite being relatively well rested thanks to the quick and decisive defeat of Trabzonspor on Thursday, the Bianconeri could be missing up to three key players for Milan at San Siro. As mentioned earlier this week, Arturo Vidal will be out, having reached his yellow-card limit against Torino. Meanwhile, it looks as if Giorgio Chiellini hasn’t quite recovered from the injury to his calf muscle, while Kwadwo Asamoah is still being evaluated for what could be a hamstring problem. So although Conte will be forced to do a minor amount of shuffling, the absence of such important players could have major implications. Gigi Buffon will be shielded by Andrea Barzagli, Leo Bonucci and probably Martin Caceres, who was taken off early against Trabzonspor presumably to rest for Milan. Caceres is easily the quickest centre-back Juve have, but injuries to Barzagli and Chiellini have seen him log a lot of minutes after playing very sporadically. If Conte thinks he needs a longer rest, Angelo Ogbonna will slot into the left CB spot.http://markting10.nl/ Vidal will be sorely missed at Milan, but thankfully the central midfield will be very fresh for Sunday. Both Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio were subbed off in Turkey (the former in the first half!), while Andrea Pirlo played only 20 minutes. That’s as close to fully rested as it gets these days. On the wings, Stephan Lichtsteiner returns to the right flank, while the concerns for Asamoah will likely see Federico Peluso take his place on the left. Considering Peluso’s increasingly poor decision-making in the final third, look for attacks to come from the right on Sunday. The attack will be very fresh, as Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente got to sit out entirely on Thursday. Meanwhile, the overall striking core is functioning as effectively as we’ve seen all season. Dani Osvaldo is proving to be very effective in Europe and often dangerous in his Serie A appearances, while Sebastian Giovinco is finally showing signs of the dynamic player he’s always threatening to be. So good was he in Turkey, setting up goals, holding up play (!) and tracking back on defense, that Juve should be seriously reevaluating not only his formerly bleak future in Turin but their own strategy for utilizing him going forward. Perhaps his struggles this season are more a reflection of the lack of continuity during both of his Juve spells, or the perpetual puzzle posed by his size and “characteristics.” Whatever the reason, surely this is the player who excited at Parma and during those frustrating Ranieri days. If he refined his shooting and scored more goals, we’d be discussing rumors of a contract extension.http://markting10.nl/ Sadly, it looks as though Mario Balotelli will be missing another confrontation with Juventus. His absences from this fixture in recent years are a bit conspicuous, whether they be through injury or his tri-annual period of suspension. This time around, it seems like he’s picked up a knock and is training separately from his teammates. Too bad: It would be fun to see the Bianconeri take him on at full strength and full emotional equilibrium, but unfortunately his house never seems to be fully in order. Well, no matter. Milan by themselves should be entertainment enough. If Juventus take the Rossoneri threat very seriously, and they will, then their chances are excellent even at San Siro. Milan’s recent renewal is only relative to how terrible they were playing before; they certainly haven’t looked like world-beaters under Seedorf. But again, this fixture motivates the Rossoneri like few others. Let’s hope the Bianconeri make a significant contribution to a post-Seedorf comedown. FINO ALL FINE, FORZA JUVE!!!http://markting10.nl/ Guida Officiates Juve-Milan Marco Guida of Pompei will preside over the always contentious clash with Milan at San Siro. We’ve seen him recently, as Guida oversaw a 4-1 rout of Cagliari last month. According to the official site, Juve have currently won four, drawn two and lost none under Guida’s whistle. Not a large sample size, but an encouraging record nonetheless. Guida’s linesmen will be Di Liberatore and Cariolato. The man known only as Marzaloni will be fourth official; I imagine he will look over at Milan’s side, see Kaka, and wonder if he hasn’t traveled a few seasons back in time.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Both teams will be missing key players as Sulley Muntari and Arturo Vidal both miss out due to suspension, per WhoScored.com. The two clubs will be defending notable records: Milan have had a disastrous season but will be looking to remain undefeated at the San Siro for the seventh consecutive match, while Juventus have won 15 out of 17 games and will hope this form continues (per WhoScored.com.)http://markting10.nl/ Key Storylines It has been one of Milan's most forgettable seasons this year as the seven-time European Cup winners sit in mid-table in ninth spot, per BBC Sport. They have had little fire or drive this season, with their poor goal difference of plus-four being a badge of dishonour. Key striker Mario Balotelli may well still miss the match as he has been suffering with a shoulder injury, per WhoScored.com.http://markting10.nl/ On the other hand, Juve have been sensational this season, destroying all who cross their path. The fact that they have only lost once, a 4-2 defeat away at Fiorentina in October, and have scored 60 goals in the league alone, per Squawka, proves they are currently the best team in Italy. The championship title is very much theirs to lose.http://markting10.nl/ Carlos Tevez to dominate? There is very little for which you can criticise Carlos Tevez. He stayed at West Ham and kept them up on his own. He then went to Manchester United and won the Premier League and Champions League with them. After that success, he crossed the city to join the blue half where he promptly won the FA Cup and Championship title. Now he sits in Turin, on his way to yet another medal as he leads Juve to the promised land. Tevez is a sensation, and his consistency of winning trophies is phenomenal. His 29 appearances this season have yielded 14 goals and seven assists, per WhoScored.com.http://markting10.nl/ Tevez scored yet another fantastic goal in Juve's last match, as tweeted by Live Football: His combination with Fernando Llorente has become a dangerous one as the pair score freely and drive Juve aggressively forward.http://markting10.nl/ And with the likes of Vidal and Paul Pogba behind the strikers, the Old Lady of Italian football are once again one of the best sides in the world. If Tevez is on form, he will take the San Siro by storm. With Milan in their current predicament, they will find it incredibly hard to hold the busy Argentina international back. Mar 2, 2014 AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf has told Antonio Conte to stop complaining about fixtures as Juventus travel to San Siro on Sunday.http://markting10.nl/ The Bianconeri boss had expressed his unhappiness at having to face the Rossoneri so soon after Thursday's Europa League last-32 second-leg clash with Trabzonspor, which the Old Lady won thanks to goals from Arturo Vidal and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo. Speaking ahead of Sunday's Serie A clash at the Giuseppe Meazza, Seedorf was quick to point out that Conte should by now be well aware of the consequences of competing on two fronts. "Conte knows that the big teams have to deal with the calendar," the 37-year-old Dutchman told Tuttosport.http://markting10.nl/ "And that they will have two games only a couple of days apart. Anyone who plays in Europe knows that this is the nature of the calendar. You do not complain about it. "Conte has done a great job, I congratulate him. Ever since they won the league title, they have grown. "When you win, you automatically improve morale, acquire respect. Conte, like [Fiorentina boss Vincenzo] Montella, has revamped the Italian football and I think a good thing.http://markting10.nl/ "These are two coaches who bring freshness." Milan have endured a difficult season and currently sit in ninth, though they have improved since Seedorf's appointment in January, having suffered only one league defeat in their last five outings. "I do not look at the standings," the former Rossoneri and Real Madrid midfielder mused.http://markting10.nl/ "I want another great performance against a great team. For us, this is the only thing that counts. "I've won two Champions League finals against Juventus [for Madrid in 1998 and Milan in 2003]. I scored against Juventus for three different clubs. "But that is history. And this game does not define my coaching career, but it might make a difference to Milan's season."http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

While in recent years this would’ve been a Scudetto showdown, the Rossoneri are mid-table following a disastrous run under Massimiliano Allegri. Matters have improved since Seedorf took over, including last week’s 2-0 victory away to Sampdoria.http://markting10.nl/ He has to do without Mario Balotelli, who has not recovered from a shoulder injury he sustained against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. Sulley Muntari is suspended, while Stephan El Shaarawy and Bryan Cristante are still sidelined. Christian Abbiati and Daniele Bonera return after coming down with flu last week and Mattia De Sciglio is fit for the bench following an ankle sprain.http://markting10.nl/ It means Giampaolo Pazzini leads the trident attack with support from Ricky Kaka, Adel Taarabt and Andrea Poli preferred to Keisuke Honda. Juventus have Arturo Vidal suspended in midfield, so his place is taken by Claudio Marchisio alongside Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba. Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente were rested for the 2-0 Europa League victory away to Trabzonspor on Thursday, but return here.http://markting10.nl/ Giorgio Chiellini is not risked from the start, so Martin Caceres is again in the back three. Kwadwo Asamoah passed a late fitness test to be included.http://markting10.nl/ MILAN: Abbiati; Abate, Rami, Bonera, Emanuelson; Montolivo, De Jong; Kaka, Poli, Taarabt; Pazzini Milan bench: Amelia, Gabriel, De Sciglio, Mexes, Robinho, Saponara, Honda, Birsa, Essien, Constant, Petagna, Zaccardo JUVENTUS: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Caceres; Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Tevez, Llorente Juventus bench: Storari, Rubinho, Chiellini, Ogbonna, Peluso, Isla, Padoin, Osvaldo, Giovinco, Quagliarellahttp://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Christian Abbiati and Daniele Bonera returned after suffering from flu. Giampaolo Pazzini wore a face mask to protect a nose injury. Juve didn’t risk Giorgio Chiellini from the start and drafted in Claudio Marchisio for the banned Arturo Vidal, while Kwadwo Asamoah passed a fitness test. The Bianconeri were fresh from Thursday’s 2-0 Europa League victory away to Trabzonspor and Andrea Pirlo stepped back into the stadium that was his home for a decade. Early on Adel Taarabt tested Gigi Buffon from distance and then his cross was nodded wide by Pazzini. Juventus had a great chance on 17 minutes when Fernando Llorente only scuffed his attempt, but the ball kept going for Stephan Lichtsteiner who forced Abbiati into a desperate reaction save with his knee.http://markting10.nl/ Less than 30 seconds later Milan had an opportunity, but Pazzini just failed to get the flick before Buffon on an Ignazio Abate assist. Milan somehow failed to score on 26 minutes with a strong counter. Kaka’s first shot was parried by Buffon, then the second beat him only for Leonardo Bonucci to perform a desperate goalline clearance. Andrea Poli ballooned over after Pazzini’s effort was charged down on the edge of the box, then Buffon beat away a Riccardo Montolivo snapshot from distance.http://markting10.nl/ Taarabt’s first touch let him down when Kaka robbed Andrea Barzagli. Milan were dominating as the first half wore on and Buffon acrobatically flew to palm away a Kaka curler, but again Poli couldn’t keep the follow-up on target. However, it was Juventus who got the ball in the net with a well-worked move. Claudio Marchisio pounced on an Adil Rami error to pull back for Lichtsteiner and the ball eventually fell to Fernando Llorente to turn in unmarked from seven yards.http://markting10.nl/ Milan 0-1 Juventus (Half-Time) Scorers: Llorente 44 (J) MILAN: Abbiati; Abate, Rami, Bonera, Emanuelson; Montolivo, De Jong; Kaka, Poli, Taarabt; Pazzini JUVENTUS: Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Caceres; Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Tevez, Llorente Ref: Guidahttp://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti
