Conte: 'Spectacular Juve'

1zbtgzo.jpg

Aug 31, 2013

Antonio Conte can’t help but be pleased after Juventus beat Lazio 4-1, particularly the “spectacular opening 25 minutes.”

The Bianconeri pummelled their opponents in Turin this evening with an Arturo Vidal brace, Mirko Vucinic and Carlos Tevez.

http://markting10.nl/

It came just two weeks after a 4-0 win over Lazio in the Italian Super Cup.

“Winning again and putting another four goals past Lazio is a sign of our growing form, both as a collective and as individuals,” Conte told Sky Sport Italia.

“We are shaking off the heavy workload of pre-season training and have won all three of our official matches. Today we were facing a tough opponent who always made us suffer. It’s a victory that gives us confidence, but we must never let our concentration slip.

“We started very strong, particularly the spectacular opening 25 minutes in terms of intensity and organisation. When 2-0 up we conceded an unlucky goal from Miroslav Klose that put the brakes on us a little bit.

“Lazio had several shots from distance and we do have to improve on defending those. In possession we cause problems and our opponents often try to hit us on the counter-attack, but we did well to prevent those.

“We still need to improve, as in some stages there wasn’t enough pressure from the midfielders and we went too deep.”

The Coach was asked about his Press conference on Friday, in which he complained the club forced him to sell Alessandro Matri and Emanuele Giaccherini.

“I just reflected on the situation, that’s all. We need to concentrate on Serie A, as it’s going to be tough this year and we want to give our fans more to celebrate. There will be some squad rotation, so we need everyone.”

Conte also confirmed Luca Marrone will leave Juventus, but “he didn’t tell me where he was going.”

Petkovic: 'Too many mistakes'

2pqoyf4.jpg

Aug 31, 2013

Vladimir Petkovic was again forced to rue Lazio mistakes against Juventus and sent a message to the club about Burak Yilmaz.

The Biancocelesti lost 4-0 in the Italian Super Cup two weeks ago and 4-1 in Serie A this evening.

http://markting10.nl/

“You cannot give Juventus the opportunity to score certain goals,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We need to be sharper and more clear-headed both in defence and attack, because we had our chances too.

“We went too deep and allowed too much space to the Bianconeri, a very strong side who keep the ball well and burst through with their midfielders. We should’ve been tighter and more compact.

“Now there is the break for international duty and we must reflect on how to avoid certain situations.”

Lazio President Claudio Lotito continues to insist there is no interest in Galatasaray striker Burak Yilmaz, but Petkovic isn’t so sure.

“Yilmaz? Burak has an excellent CV and is certainly a great player.”

Jonathan: Mazzarri gives me confidence

Sep 4, 2013

Inter defender Jonathan has praised new Coach Walter Mazzarri for revitalising his Nerazzurri career.

The Brazilian centre-back had struggled to break into the San Siro side’s first team since his 2011 move from Santos.

http://markting10.nl/

But the 27-year-old has now started both League games so far this term.

“The merit of my recent performances have been because of Mazzarri,” he told Sport Mediaset.

“The Coach has given me confidence and that is really important.

“Now we have to play Juventus, which will be tough. They are a strong team. Conte has worked well for years and manages to get the best out of his players.

“Playing at San Siro will give us an extra boost though.

“I’m sure we will give them a great challenge and maybe even beat them.”

Inter striker could make comeback from injury against Juventus

Sep 5, 2013

Inter’s Argentine striker Diego Milito could be ready in time to feature in the Derby d’Italia against Juventus on September 14.

http://markting10.nl/

The 34-year-old is a long-term injury absentee and hasn’t played for Inter since rupturing cruciate ligaments seven minutes into the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 Europa League win over CFR Cluj in February.

However, according to TuttoJuve.com manager Walter Mazzarri could name Milito on the bench for the encounter at the San Siro, depending on how the veteran progresses in the next 10 days.

The Argentine international faces a decisive test on his road to recovery with a friendly against Lugano on Saturday morning, which will help determine if he will be ready to play in an official match.

Furino: Juventus the team to beat

Sep 7, 2013

Juventus legend Beppe Furino believes that the Old Lady remain favourites for the Scudetto this season and has singled out their young French midfielder Paul Pogba as an exceptional talent within the Bianconeri squad.

http://markting10.nl/

However, the 67-year-old also feels that under the stewardship of new coach Walter Mazzarri, Inter could have an important part to play in Serie A this term after being impressed by their opening two victories.

“Juventus is the team to beat, but I was impressed by the Inter and Mazzarri,” Furino told Tuttojuve.com.

“The Nerazzurri can have a big season and be the main antagonist.

“Pogba has extraordinary qualities and can become a great champion.

The entire department, however, is very strong. Out on the field Juve have great players.”

Born in Palermo, Furino amassed 361 league appearances for Juventus scoring eight times and won an impressive eight Serie A titles between 1971 and 1984.

Campagnaro ready for a battle against Juventus

Sep 7, 2013

New Inter arrival Hugo Campagnaro is looking forward to play against current champion Juventus and expects a battle between the two rivals.

http://markting10.nl/

The former Napoli centre-back joined the Nerazzurri along with manager Walter Mazzarri this summer and appeared in the starting 11 in wins against Catania and Genoa.

“Juventus has a very strong team, but we are well organized: it will be a battle,” Campagnaro told Corriere dello Sport.

The Argentine international also talked about his relation with Mazzarri and the promising defense performances which resulted in two successive clean sheets.

“We’re not offering our opponents that many shots either, that’s an important signal.

“It’s true that this is my seventh season with Mazzarri and I know what movements he is expecting, but Andrea Ranocchia and Juan Jesus are also aware now of what is required on the field of play.”

The Biscione will welcome the Old Lady after the international break at the San Siro.

Marotta: 'Inter Scudetto favourites'

Sep 8, 2013

Juventus director general Beppe Marotta warned next weekend’s opponents Inter are “among the Scudetto favourites.”

The Derby d’Italia is next Saturday, kicking off at 17.00 UK time, and after two rounds they both have a 100 per cent record.

http://markting10.nl/

“We will face an important test against a strong side that renewed very well. I think Inter can do a great deal this season,” declared Marotta at a public event in Cernobbio.

“Walter Mazzarri has revitalised the feeling around the club and this is why I think Inter should be considered among the Scudetto favourites.”

Bianconeri director general Marotta also commented on the UEFA Financial Fair Play rules which in his view do not go far enough.

“The fiscal disparity in European football absolutely damages Italian clubs in international tournaments.

“The objective now is to create harmony in the rapport with other nations. I hope UEFA will intervene, otherwise the competition is falsified.”

No injury worries for Inter striker despite absence in friendly

Sep 8, 2013

Inter striker Mauro Icardi was held out of the Nerazzurri’s friendly against Lugano on Saturday but it is believed the youngster will be available for next weekend’s match against Juventus.

http://markting10.nl/

The friendly saw the return of heralded striker Diego Milito to the first team as the Argentine striker scored a second half goal to help the Nerazzurri fight back from two goals down to snatch a 2-2 draw against the Swiss side.

While the veteran’s return is a positive for the Beneamata there were concerns as Icardi was a notable absentee from the match.

However fcinternews.it have stated that Icardi, who is still recovering from a knock picked up against Genoa on opening day, will be available for the side when they take on rivals Juventus in the Derby d’Italia on Saturday.

Icardi joined the Nerazzurri earlier this summer from Sampdoria after scoring ten goals in 31 appearances for the Blucerchiati last season.

'Always tension before big matches'

Sep 9, 2013

Inter captain Javier Zanetti has admitted he is nervous ahead of their clash with Juventus at the weekend.

The Nerazzurri play the Bianconeri on Saturday, and the Argentine defender has claimed that his side have a ‘great desire’ to win the match.

http://markting10.nl/

“You always feel a tension before an important match,” he told reporters. “I am just sorry I can’t play.

“Juventus are a great team, but we will try hard to beat them. [Coach Walter] Mazzarri is a hard worker and will do his best.

“At the beginning of the season I was struck by the young players especially. They all have a great desire to do well.”

Marchisio wary of 'fierce' Inter threat

The 27-year-old, who will miss Saturday’s Derby d’Italia with an injury,
believes victory over the Nerazzurri would grant a timely boost of confidence.

Sep 10, 2013

Claudio Marchisio has warned that Inter will make life extremely difficult for Juventus in Saturday’s Derby d’Italia.

The Nerazurri brought the Serie A champions' 49-game unbeaten run to an end in Turin last season as a brace from Diego Milito inspired his side to a 3-1 win, although the Bianconeri exacted revenge with a 2-1 win in Milan in March.

http://markting10.nl/

Marchisio has urged his team-mates to be fully focused against Walter Mazzarri's "fierce" outfit this weekend, stating that a win over their rivals would grant a timely confidence boost so early in the season.

"Inter have always made it difficult for us," he told reporters.

"They beat us last year and also have a new coach. They are capable of playing good, fierce football.

"For us to beat a strong team like Inter on the third day of the season would be a real boost of confidence."

The Italy international will miss the clash after picking up an injury in the 4-1 Supercoppa clash with Lazio.

He added: "I am sorry not to be there, but the team is doing well. I have great confidence in my team-mates."

Inter out to stun Juventus, insists Zanetti

The Argentine defender is looking forward to the upcoming
Derby d'Italia and hopes the Nerazzurri can cause an upset.

Sep 10, 2013

Inter skipper Javier Zanetti is eagerly anticipating this weekend's Serie A match against Juventus and is hopeful the Giuseppe Meazza side can record a shock win.

Zanetti, who is still out of action because of an Achilles injury suffered at the end of last season, acknowledges that the Turin giants are the team to beat, but has insisted that the Nerazzurri will do their utmost to bag the full three points on Saturday.

http://markting10.nl/

"Juventus are a great team that has been playing well for years. We’re going to give our all. I believe we’re a team making rapid progress. It won’t be an easy game. We’ll see what happens on the pitch," the 40-year-old told reporters.

"It will be a big match, as it always is between these two great clubs. It’s a game you really get up for: it means a lot and we hope it goes well for us.

"I think Juventus are a great team and I’m sure they’ll fight to the end to win the league."

Quagliarella set for Inter start

Sep 11, 2013

Fabio Quagliarella is increasingly likely to start for Juventus against Inter on Saturday after he scored a brace in training.

http://markting10.nl/

The Bianconeri visit San Siro at 17.00 UK time on Saturday, but Mirko Vucinic is a major doubt after he was stretchered off while on international duty with Montenegro.

Quagliarella is emerging as the favourite to partner Carlos Tevez, as Fernando Llorente is still not finding his form after a year of barely featuring for Athletic Bilbao.

This afternoon Juve played a friendly test against Serie D team Borgomanero that ended 7-0 with Quagliarella and Tevez bagging a brace each.

Llorente, Sebastian Giovinco and Ouasim Buoy completed the rout.

The Turin giants have also lost Simone Pepe and Martin Caceres to injury this week.

Buffon aware of Inter threat

Sep 12, 2013

Juventus captain Gigi Buffon is showing Inter respect ahead of Saturday’s San Siro Derby d’Italia showdown.

The Old Lady have started their quest for a third successive Scudetto in confident mood, but the Nerazzurri also have a 100 per cent record after two games.

http://markting10.nl/

“It’s time to concentrate on the championship again and Inter because we can’t make any mistakes,” Buffon, who secured World Cup qualification with Italy in midweek, told Tuttosport.

“It won’t be an easy game. Actually, right now, it is possibly the most difficult we could play. They are in good shape, charged up with enthusiasm after a good start, eager to confirm themselves.”

The Milanese club made changes this summer after finishing last term in ninth. As well as new players, they replaced boss Andrea Stramaccioni with Walter Mazzarri.

“They could repeat our cycle,” the goalkeeper, whose Juve side went from two seventh-place finishes to back-to-back titles, added.

“There are similarities – they have rebuilt and there is a new Coach who is very good, another reason to respect them ahead of the game.

“I don’t know what a defeat could signify for them at this moment in time,” he continued. “They are only at the start of a new project.

“Their project is a solid one and they can implement it without worrying about playing in Europe. I don’t think one lost game can bring an end to it.

“But we need a victory for us, not a victory to stop them.”

Vucinic could face Inter

Sep 12, 2013

Mirko Vucinic resumed training with Juventus today, so could well start on Saturday against Inter.

http://markting10.nl/

The striker was stretchered off while on international duty for Montenegro last Friday with a knock to the knee.

There were fears he would not be fit for the weekend, but Vucinic resumed full training today with his teammates.

This suggests he is available to start the Derby d’Italia against Inter at San Siro.

Buffon: Inter can challenge Juventus for Scudetto

The Italy international has stressed that Walter Mazzarri's men are a force
to be reckoned with in Serie A this term following the former Napoli boss' arrival.

Sep 12, 2013

Gianluigi Buffon has warned his Juventus team-mates not to underestimate Inter ahead of this weekend's Serie A encounter.

http://markting10.nl/

The Nerazzurri side had to settle for ninth spot in the league table last term, but they have looked strong in the opening weeks of the 2013-14 campaign and the Italy skipper feels they could challenge his side title under new boss Walter Mazzarri.

"We have tremendous respect for Inter and take them very seriously," Buffon was quoted as saying by the Corriere dello Sport.

"With a great coach like Mazzarri and the advantage that they can focus on Serie A, Inter are a force to be reckoned with in Serie A.

"Inter will be around all year and could make life difficult for the teams challenging for the Scudetto."

Saturday's Derby d'Italia at the Giuseppe Meazza is scheduled to kick off at 18:00CET.

Juan Jesus: It's normal that Inter are top of Serie A

The 22-year-old is not surprised by the Giuseppe Meazza side's good start,
yet believes Juventus are the favourites for this weekend's league clash.

Sep 12, 2013

Juan Jesus has insisted that it is normal for Inter to be fighting for the top spots in Serie A following their fine start to the 2013-14 campaign.

http://markting10.nl/

The Nerazzurri currently sit joint-first in the league table after wins over Genoa and Catania, but the Brazilian is not taken aback by their good performances so far.

"I'm not surprised. It's quite normal for us to be in this position because Inter deserve to be up there challenging for the big prizes," the Brazilian defender told Rai Sport 1.

"Walter Mazzarri is doing a brilliant job with us all and we want to keep going the way we are."

The 22-year-old then went on to discuss this weekend's Derby d'Italia against Juventus and admitted that the Scudetto holders start the encounter as the favourites.

"Juventus have been playing together for three years and they have plenty of belief in themselves.

"They're rightfully down as favourites because they've won back-to-back titles."

Juan: I'm afraid of Vidal

The Inter defender has admitted he has much respect for the Chilean's abilities on the pitch,
but hopes his side can replicate last season's success at Juventus Stadium.

Sep 12, 2013

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has been singled out as the main threat by Inter defender Juan Jesus ahead of Saturday's clash at San Siro.

http://markting10.nl/

The Chilean star, who is on the verge of signing a contract extension with the Bianconeri, has been a crucial part of their last two title-winning seasons.

And Juan is well aware of the threat Vidal poses in front of goal.

"I'm very afraid of Vidal," the 22-year-old told La giornalaccio rosa dello Sport.

"He has an excellent shooting technique and is a well-rounded footballer.

"But they are also very good defensively, with [Giorgio] Chiellini, [Andrea] Barzagli and [Leonardo] Bonucci at the back."

The Nerazzurri won 3-1 against Antonio Conte's men at the Juventus Stadium last season, and Juan hopes this success can be emulated this weekend.

"Personally, I remember last season's victory well because I played great. I would like to replicate this on Saturday at the San Siro," he added.

"At home, we must always play well and earn three important points.

"We have to play together, be compact and focused because it is a game that requires our concentration levels to be at 100 per cent.

"And some of our players like [Rodrigo] Palacio can make a difference, I'm sure he'll play great."

Guarin expects Juventus exam

Sep 13, 2013

Fredy Guarin says the tie against Juventus will be a good early indication of how much his Inter side have progressed under new boss Walter Mazzarri.

http://markting10.nl/

The two teams, with 100 per cent records this season, will face off at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday evening.

“Every game is an exam in its own way, but it is obvious that this is already one of the most important games of the season because Juventus are a direct rival,” the Colombian told Tuttosport.

“But these are the matches where we can show what we have learned from the teachings of Mazzarri. It is also a chance for us to show our fans the character this side now possesses.

“We always look to put into practice what the Coach is asking us for.”

The Beneamata have just Serie A and the Coppa Italia to focus on this season after ending 2012-13 in ninth place.

“A club like Inter should be playing in all competitions, even in Europe. Now we have only the League and we have to show, day after day, our desire to start winning again.”

Conte waiting on Barzagli and Vucinic

Sep 13, 2013

Juventus boss Antonio Conte has yet to decide whether Andrea Barzagli and Mirko Vucinic will start against Inter on Saturday.

http://markting10.nl/

The centre-back and striker are doubts for the clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza this weekend after recent injury.

“I asked Barzagli to make some sacrifices in the first three games and he, despite not being fully fit, made himself available,” the Coach stated this afternoon.

“He’s been training with us for a few days now, but I need to speak with him to understand how he is.

“It’s the same thing for Vucinic, he suffered a tremendous blow to the knee but he trained yesterday and is at our disposal.”

While the Old Lady won the championship again last season, the Nerazzurri – then bossed by Andrea Stramaccioni – finished in a disappointing ninth place.

But Conte, who led Juve to the title in 2012 after the club had finished seventh in successive seasons, respects the Nerazzurri’s potential.

“Two years ago everyone said we made mistakes in the transfer market, that we were a sixth-placed team at best, but we won,” he added.

“I hope the same thing doesn’t happen this year with Inter, who can look to enjoy an excellent season.

“Inter did very badly last term, but [new boss Walter] Mazzarri has a whole week to work with his players ahead of games. They will suffer less injuries and that is a big advantage.

“Inter didn’t have a bad squad last year, otherwise they wouldn’t have won at the Juventus Stadium. They have a good base.

“It is a fundamental game, especially for them in terms of self-esteem,” the former midfielder continued.

“It’s the same thing that occurred with us in the past again Milan, that win gave us the psychological knowledge that we could compete at high levels. We’ll have to be alert because they can fight for the top of the table.”

There has been friction between Conte and Mazzarri in the past, but he was full of praise for the former Napoli boss today.

“Inter have an excellent squad and a good tactician with Mazzarri, who has proved his worth. I think Inter are in the best hands with Mazzarri in charge.

“We know how Inter play and we’ll have to be aware of their counter attacks, especially Fredy Guarin who can split the team into two, and their wide players, as well as Ricky Alvarez and Rodrigo Palacio.

“Would I boss Inter? I’m happy here and I still have another year on my contract.”

Conte was also asked about summer signing Fernando Llorente, the forward who has yet to start an official game for the club.

“My attackers are all on the same level, then it will be up to me to decide who plays,” he explained.

Mazzarri: Inter can trouble Juve

Sep 13, 2013

Inter boss Walter Mazzarri believes he has the players to test Juventus in the Derby d’Italia on Saturday.

http://markting10.nl/

The two teams have a 100 per cent record in Serie A so far this season, but something has got to give at San Siro.

“People only look at the result in Italy, but I’ve always looked at the performances,” the tactician stated. “What counts at the end of the day is being able to play as a team.

“A draw could be a good result, but don’t headline that I’ll be happy with a draw. I want a performance from my team, a great performance worthy of Inter. Then the result will be what it is.

“The mentality of my side is precise – one compact and solid to defend, but who can cause damage on the attack. We have players and tactics to cause Juventus difficulties.”

Juventus will go into the game as title favourites after two successive Scudetti, whereas Mazzarri is looking to rebuild Inter after their ninth-placed finish last term under Andrea Stramaccioni.

“We need the self-confidence that Juventus have and that arrives through performances, results and the desire to do things well for a long time,” the former Napoli boss noted.

There is great rivalry and friction between the two clubs, as there is between Mazzarri and opposite number Antonio Conte.

“I don’t know what has happened between us, you’ll have to ask him. I have never said anything that would have annoyed him.

“The only thing I said was that Juve used the Napoli model of playing, but that was a compliment and not criticism. I haven’t offended Conte.”

On the subject of whether Juventus have won 31 or 29 Scudetti, Mazzarri refused to add fuel to the Calciopoli fire.

“Certain arguments have nothing to do with Coaches. They are matters for the clubs. We need serenity and to be civil.”

Turning to his squad of players, Mazzarri hailed Rodrigo Palacio and confirmed Diego Milito would be back in the party after seven months on the sidelines.

“Palacio is at the level of Edinson Cavani. He is a great attacker, but no player is the same as another. They have different characteristics.

“I’ll call up Milito and he’ll be on the bench. He needs to find some form, he needs to train well and grow. We’ll see if I have the need for him.”

Inter are title contenders, says Lichtsteiner

The Switzerland international says the Giuseppe Meazza side are candidates
because they do not have the distraction of European football and can focus on Serie A.

Sep 13, 2013

Stephan Lichtsteiner feels Inter are in a similar situation to Juventus two years ago and believes the Nerazzurri could challenge for the Scudetto ahead of this weekend's Derby d'Italia.

Juventus had the 'luxury' of only having to compete in Serie A when they won their first domestic title under Antonio Conte in 2011-12 and Lichtsteiner believes it could benefit Inter that they have no European obligations either this season.

"We’re up against a team who will be fighting for the Scudetto as their main objective, just as we were two years ago.

"We know that the Inter side we’re facing will be fired up and determined, but so are we.

"It doesn’t change anything that the Derby d'Italia is played so early in the season. What matters to us is the quality of our performance, no matter who the opponent is.

"We’ll need to put in a strong performance."

Saturday's encounter at the Giuseppe Meazza is scheduled to kick off at 18:00CET.

Conte demands alert Juventus for Derby d'Italia

The coach believes that Saturday's match is more important for Inter than
the Bianconeri and is well aware of the dangers that the San Siro side pose.

Sep 13, 2013

Juventus coach Antonio Conte has demanded his side be alert to the danger table-toppers Inter could pose in Saturday's Derby d'Italia.

Conte's Serie A champions have started the season in perfect fashion, posting league victories over Sampdoria and Lazio, as well as beating the Rome club in the Supercoppa Italiana.

Inter have also started well, however, under new boss Walter Mazzarri, and Conte knows how crucial the Nerazzurri – who finished a disappointing ninth last term – will view the match against the champions.

"It is a very important game from a psychological point of view, especially for Inter," he told reporters on Friday. "Tomorrow we'll have to be fully alert. It is a big match but it's still worth three points just like every other game.

"Mazzarri is an excellent coach and good at getting the best out of the players he works with. He has a fine group of players at his disposal. Inter can aspire to enjoy an excellent campaign.

"We know how they play, we'll need to watch out for Alvarez and Palacio on the counter, as well as their wide players."

Conte also rejected the suggestion he would rest any players ahead of Tuesday's Champions League trip to FC Copenhagen.

Andrea Barzagli (Achilles) and Mirko Vucinic (knee) are still in doubt ahead of Saturday's match, but Conte is hopeful they will both feature in the Derby d'Italia.

Inter hyped for Derby d'Italia - Mazzarri

Ahead of the Nerazzurri's clash with Juventus, the San Siro coach has hailed
the success of defensive planning and their unbeaten season start.

Inter boss Walter Mazzarri says his side are hyped to beat Juventus in Saturday's Derby d'Italia.

After finishing a disappointing ninth last term, Inter look to be revived under the former Napoli coach and they have posted successive wins against Genoa and Catania to start their season.
The Nerazzurri's biggest test yet will come on Saturday, though, as Scudetto winners Juve visit San Siro having also posted back-to-back wins and Mazzarri says that the ramped pressure has increased expectations within the club.

"The more pressure there is, the more up for it you are," he told reporters on Friday. "We hope to give our fans lots to cheer about.

"We're focusing on ourselves. Inter-Juventus is always a highly anticipated match but however it goes tomorrow we'll still only have played three games."

Mazzarri, whose side are yet to concede this season, also expressed his satisfaction at seeing hard work on defensive systems pay off on the pitch.

"We're careful defensively and developing our attacking game," he added.

"We can cause problems for anyone. The team's defensive work is crucial. We must remain compact but also think about hurting the opposition."

Inter have been handed a further boost with the news that striker Diego Milito, 34, is ready to return to his squad having been out with a knee injury since February.

"He'll make the squad, yes. I want him in the group even though he's not at his best yet," Mazzarri said of the forward, who scored in a 2-2 friendly draw against Lugano on Saturday.

Inter-Juventus Betting Preview:
Expect Conte's men to neutralise their hosts at the San Siro

Walter Mazzarri hopes to recreate the counter attacking game that was so successful
at Napoli with his new side, but Al Hain-Cole does not expect much joy against the champions.

Sep 13, 2013

Two 100 per cent records will be at stake when Inter and Juventus face off on Saturday afternoon, in an early Serie A heavyweight clash.

http://markting10.nl/

Walter Mazzarri has enjoyed the best possible start to life at the San Siro after leading his new side to two consecutive victories without conceding but his team are 11/5 (3.20) outsiders with Coral to make it three in row against the champions.

La Vecchia Signora have begun the defence of their title in equally impressive fashion and are favourites at evens (2.00) to take maximum points from this fixture for the third successive season.

The sides actually met just over a month ago in a friendly tournament in Miami, sharing a 1-1 draw in the International Champions Cup, and you can get odds of 11/5 (3.20) on them sharing the spoils again in this one.

After taking an ultimately unsuccessful risk in promoting youth team coach Andrea Stramaccioni to the top job, owner Massimo Moratti has now turned to the more experienced head of Mazzarri to mould the Nerazzurri back into title contenders.

The 51-year-old previously turned Napoli from mid-table team into Serie A runners-up thanks to an exciting 3-4-3 system that relied on speedy counter-attacks, and he looks intent on implementing those tactics at his new club.

However, this gameplan is prone to coming unstuck in home fixtures against sides who refuse to leave any space in behind, and Antonio Conte’s visitors are the masters of the solid away performance.

Juventus won an unparalleled 13 of their 19 league fixtures on the road last season, conceding just 14 goals and keeping seven clean sheets, and their opening 1-0 win over Sampdoria suggests they have not lost any of their efficiency this term.

A bet on under 2.5 goals would have paid out in seven of the guests’ last nine away league games, including a 1-1 draw at Mazzarri’s Napoli, and offers tempting value at 5/6 (1.83) in a cat and mouse game against Inter, especially where the match odds look so difficult to call at this early stage of the season.
