As Roma don’t play Cagliari until Monday evening, the Bianconeri are just one point off the leaders and could spend at least 24 hours in the top spot. However, Antonio Conte has to deal with a large number of absentees, most of them centred around the defence.http://markting10.nl/ Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna are both suspended, while Andrea Barzagli, Mauricio Isla, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sebastian Giovinco and Simone Pepe are injured. This forces a radical reshuffle of the back line with Vidal re-routed to centre-back with Martin Caceres and Livorno-born Giorgio Chiellini. It’s not the first time the Chilean midfielder has been used in defence, as he already played there in 2012 against Genoa and Fiorentina.http://markting10.nl/ In attack, Fernando Llorente is again used as the partner for Carlos Tevez. This is a very special game for Gianluigi Buffon, his 500th Serie A appearance. Livorno are hovering just above the relegation zone and haven’t beaten Juventus in Tuscany since a 1-0 result in 1940-41. The Amaranto are also missing star players, as top scorer Paulinho sits out a ban. Innocent Emeghara therefore partners Luca Siligardi, as the two have so far been taking turns at starting alongside Paulinho.http://markting10.nl/ LIVORNO: Bardi; Coda, Rinaudo, Ceccherini; Schiattarella, Luci, Mbaye, Emerson, Greco; Siligardi, Emeghara Livorno bench: Aldegani, Anania, Lambrughi, Piccini, Gemiti, Biagianti, Valentini, Belinghieri, Decarli, Mosquera, Benassi, Borja JUVENTUS: Buffon; Caceres, Vidal, Chiellini; Padoin, Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah; Tevez, Llorente Juventus bench: Storari, Rubinho, De Ceglie, Peluso, Motta, Quagliarella, Vucinichttp://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Nov 24, 2013 A goal each from Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez secured a comfortable 2-0 win for Juventus against Livorno on Sunday.http://markting10.nl/ The home side battled bravely for an hour until the Spanish striker volleyed home from Paul Pogba's cross, before teeing up Tevez to drill home a second with fifteen minutes left to play. The result sends defending champions Juventus to the summit for the time being, with unbeaten Roma not playing until Monday. Antonio Conte's men have now kept five consecutive clean sheets in the league and are two points ahead of Rudi Garcia's charges.http://markting10.nl/ Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal, who had to gain Fifa clearance to play after pulling out of both of his country's recent friendlies, stepped into a makeshift Juventus defence, with Stephan Lichtsteiner, Andrea Barzagli and striker Sebastian Giovinco all out injured, while Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna were suspended. Livorno made four changes to the side that lost 2-0 at Inter last time out, with Andrea Coda, Leandro Rinaudo, Leandro Greco and Innocent Emeghara coming in for Giuseppe Gemiti, Nahuel Valentini, Alfred Duncan and the suspended Paulinho. After a quiet opening 20 minutes, Llorente had the visitors' first clear-cut opportunity, heading over the crossbar from a Simone Padoin cross.http://markting10.nl/ Emeghara pulled the trigger from the edge of the penalty area at the other end five minutes later, but his effort was deflected high and wide for a corner. Paul Pogba forced Livorno goalkeeper Francesco Bardi to tip over his crossbar on the half-hour mark with a powerful drive from 20 yards, but Juve were struggling to find their flow against a disciplined home defence. And the hosts almost broke the deadlock three minutes later, but Emeghara's chipped attempt drifted wide of the target amid suspicions of offside.http://markting10.nl/ Kwadwo Asamoah fancied his chances from distance, but the Ghanaian saw his effort pushed around the post by Bardi eight minutes before the interval. Greco went into the referee's book after 53 minutes for simulation in the penalty area after a collision with Vidal, but replays suggested it was a harsh decision. Juve went ahead in the 63rd minute as Llorente met a Pogba cross from the right to send a right-footed volley into the top right-hand corner of the net from the centre of the penalty area.http://markting10.nl/ Tevez drilled just wide of the left-hand post as the visitors went in search of a second, but Livorno were holding firm as they clung onto the belief that they could still take something from the encounter. However, Tevez killed off any lingering hopes that remained for the hosts as he fired home a low effort from 16 yards after good work in the area by Llorente, before Pogba struck the post in the dying minutes as Juve finished strongly.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Leandro Greco was booked for simulation when going down in the box after Siligardi had run into a crowd of Bianconeri jerseys, then Juve had penalty appeals for a Ceccherini handling offence, though it was flicked on to his arm by Llorente’s back-heel from point-blank range. Makeshift defender Vidal intercepted a dangerous Emerson counter-attack, but Juventus did eventually find a way through.http://markting10.nl/ Pogba floated in a cross for Llorente, who got in front of his marker and volleyed in with the inside of his boot. It was a splendid finish from the Spaniard. Emerson’s long-range strike skimmed the top corner, but Juve doubled their advantage. Llorente held up the ball just inside the area for Tevez to smash a snooker shot into the near bottom corner. The two sides had contested a fairly even first half, however, it was a match largely dominated by the visitors who always looked as though they would eventually make their superior quality secure victory. In fact it took 20 minutes before the crowd were presented with a shot on goal to reflect on, but despite an excellent delivery from Simone Padoin on the right Llorente failed to connect cleanly with his header and it looped over.http://markting10.nl/ With 15 minutes remaining of the opening period the Bianconeri finally started to trouble the Livorno goal. First Giorgio Chiellini had a strike from distance deflected wide and moments later Paul Pogba collected the ball on the edge of the box from Tevez but drove straight at Francesco Bardi who palmed over. On 39 minutes Ibrahima Mbaye nearly spoilt a disciplined first half performance from Davide Nicola’s side when he dived in two-footed on Padoin, but fortunately for the Juventus wing-back he escaped unscathed. More surprising though was that referee Davide Massa only chose to caution the Amaranti man. It was then Kwadwo Assamoah’s turn to commit an equally stupid, if not dangerous, foul on Leandro Greco, however, some distance from Gianluigi Buffon’s goal the resulting free-kick never troubled the veteran who was celebrating his 500th Serie A match.http://markting10.nl/ The second half began with the home side visibly lifted by the relaxed attitude of the Old Lady and began to press the visitors’ makeshift defence, missing Andrea Barzagli and Leandro Bonucci, but on several occasions their lack of quality in the final third became apparent in the absence of suspended striker Paulinho. Antonio Conte’s men finally made their quality count on 63 minutes as Llorente fired them into the lead, the ball making its way to Pogba on the right who curled in a precise cross for the Spaniard to volley brilliantly past Bardi.http://markting10.nl/ After the goal Livorno’s early belief seemed to disintegrate as the Bianconeri started to dominate the remainder of the match with Tevez twice going close to increasing their lead. The Argentinean eventually doubled their lead with 15 minutes remaining after excellent play from Llorente saw him hold off two Livorno defenders before laying the ball into the path of the former Manchester City striker who placed a right foot shot into the net.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Stamina and defensive solidity made it seem that the home side were capable of at least a point but the class of Juventus can never be dulled as the front two of Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez scored both goals to ensure a win and top place in the league, at least until Roma play on Monday.http://markting10.nl/ This was always going to be a tough test for Antonio Conte's men considering the many absences. Livorno are defined by the tenacity of their play and when a squad is both tired and depleted, the Amaranto are hardly the best opponents to face. It was made abundantly clear that Livorno planned on soaking up the pressure before countering with their pace and strength. In fact, the Amaranto's best goal scoring opportunities came after the Bianconeri's corners. They would intercept, get hold of the ball and dribble with pace to threaten Gigi Buffon's goal. The only problem is that their players often took too long to make a decision, to release the ball and to identify the correct pass. Despite playing with a make-shift defence, Juve's back-line were rarely tested due to the poor play of the Livorno forwards.http://markting10.nl/ However, defensively the Amaranto were a sight to behold and Davide Nicola's teachings were made clear for all to see. His solid defensive side displayed their stamina and strength and doubled up on their opponents to ensure Juventus struggled. The Bianconeri were simply incapable of penetrating and with so many Livorno players back and eager to snatch possession away, Conte's men needed to be quicker and play and with greater intensity if they hoped to overcome their enthusiastic opponents. However, on a tactical level it was interesting to see the movements of the Bianconeri. Paul Pogba regularly exploited any available space in midfield in the first half, whether on the right or left, drifting wherever he thought best. In turn, this also forced Claudio Marchisio to adopt different positions and the two would diagonally exchange roles during transitions, with Pogba attacking from the left at times and Marchisio defending close to Simone Padoin on the right during the defensive stage of the game. It's logical to assume that any side defined by its dynamic performance would tire in the second half. Whilst Livorno seemed more determined to push forward after the break, energy levels soon waned. It's difficult to keep up the kind of intensity the Tuscans managed in the first half and once the Old Lady struck her first, confidence levels dropped to further slow down the hosts.http://markting10.nl/ Juventus displayed their class and their superior technical levels in the second half. Their fluid movements and wonderful link-up play demonstrated exactly why they are still the team to beat in Serie A. Padoin did an exceptionally good job on the right, allowing his side to attempt most of their offensive penetration down that wing. His clever positioning and improved crossing created trouble for his opponents and his consistent running up and down the flank was pleasing to watch. However, in the few times the Old Lady opted to go forward via the left-hand side, they were rewarded by the quality of Kwadwo Asamoah, who proved much better at getting past his opponents and delivering the ball. His beautiful turn on the ball led to the accurate pass to Pogba -- the man who assisted Fernando Llorente's goal. Juventus broke the deadlock.http://markting10.nl/ Effective in both the defensive and offensive side of the game, the only sour note of Asamoah's display is the yellow card he picked up, which will rule him out of Juve's next Serie A clash against his old club Udinese. Yet we cannot mention the good efforts of the wing-backs without complimenting Llorente for a majestic performance up top. His wonderful vision, ability to hold the ball up and growing understanding with the teammates around him saw him dominate the game. Not only did he score the Bianconeri's first but he assisted the second too and the manner in which he was celebrated for his efforts by his teammates only goes to show how important he is for that dressing room.http://markting10.nl/ Their fifth consecutive victory, it's time to applaud the strength of this Juve side. They were heavily criticised earlier in the season for lethargic performances, whilst questions were asked of the side that may be forgiven for losing their motivation after so much domestic success. However, that defeat to Fiorentina lit the fire of passion within and they've been unstoppable ever since. Now they need to replicate their domestic form in Europe and manage a win against Copenhagen to demonstrate their ability to fight it out with the best in the continent.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

There was plenty of possession, but not many chances.http://markting10.nl/ Then Kwadwo Asamoah made the run. Paul Pogba made the beautiful cross. Fernando Llorente volleyed it home. The patience had finally paid off and Juve were deservedly up 1-0, on their way to a fifth straight win in Serie A after the disaster against Fiorentina and yet another clean sheet. It's almost becoming routine at this point, huh? Maybe not that much, but this is the Juve of last year with a new twist, not the one of a few months back.http://markting10.nl/ For a long period of time, it wasn't a game that would have gotten you many style points. Were there moments of substance? Absolutely. As the second half went on, Juve's play resembled the way they went into the international break. They dominated possession, created plenty of scoring chances, and got the three points.JuventusFC ✔ @juventusfcen Llorente: We played well, especially in the second half when we created more clear-cut chances and scored two vital goals. Even with all the injuries and absences, no worries coming out of the international break. The train kept rolling. Now it's back to Turin with the Danes coming to town for a decisive Champions League encounter.http://markting10.nl/ Random thoughts and observations •It's hard not to root for Llorente considering everything he's been through the past year or so. And when he has games like he had against Livorno, it makes the slow integration into the Juventus squad even that much more worth it. It was just the goal great finish on Pogba's cross. His second half was as good or better than anybody else. His hold up play on Tevez's goal was superb. And the more he plays alongside Tevez, the more Llorente's understanding has developed. Once Llorente started to get consistent playing time, you wanted to see him take steps forward to show that Conte's decision to hold him back at the start of the season was the right choice. And guess what? Llorente's doing just that.http://markting10.nl/ •Arturo Vidal: Not a bad guy to have around when you need a makeshift central defender. •Was I worried about Juve's new-look defense? Maybe a little. But the way they played, they put any doubts to rest in a hurry. The back three of Caceres, Vidal and Chiellini didn't miss a beat. Depth is a great thing to have, and Antonio Conte has it all over the place on this squad. •The run from Asamoah was obviously the highlight of his day, but as a whole, he really gave Juve a presence out of the left wing.http://markting10.nl/ •Seven goals in 12 Serie A starts for Tevez. This has been your weekly Carlitos goal tally update. •Juventus' top scorers in Serie A last season, Vidal and Mirko Vucinic, had 10. The way Tevez is going right now, he could equal or pass that total by the winter break. •Speaking of goals, Simone Zaza and Domenico Berardi both scored for Sassuolo today. Well done, kids.http://markting10.nl/ •Livorno broke on a second-half counter after a Juve corner and did you notice who raced back and ended the attack before it became serious danger? Claudio Marchisio. Sure, he isn't up to his form of a couple of years ago, but it's those kinds of things that sometimes go unnoticed. •A clean sheet and hopping over Roma at the top of the table. If Gigi Buffon could have ordered up a way his 500th Serie A appearance would go, I'm pretty sure it would have looked a lot like the end result.OptaPaolo @OptaPaolo 500 - @gianluigibuffon played today his 500th Serie A game, keeping his 145th clean sheet in 332 top-flight appearances for Juventus. Nov 24, 2013LIVORNOFrancesco Bardi - Could not help either goal, and had few saves to make otherwise.Federico Ceccherini - Communicated well with Rinaudo on occasion, as the defenders were spotted swapping play on more than one occasion to effectively shot out Juve's attack.Leandro Rinaudo - Marshaled Tevez excellently for long spells throughout the game, making sure that the dangerous Argentine striker barely got a kick on the ball.Andrea Coda - Solid in the first half but sub par in the second, as he lost out to Llorente in a few duels and looked unable to cope with the opposition attack in the buildup to both goals.Ibrahima Mbaye - Motored up and down the left flank for the home side, but was sometimes lost positionally, and forced to compensate with some late tackles, one of which led to his booking in the first half.Emerson - Helped to shield the backline with a great display of positioning and diligence, and was not irresponsible with the ball either.Andrea Luci - His deliveries from set pieces were disappointingly poor, given that they represented some of the best chances to get on the scoresheet for the hosts.Leandro Greco - Quietly effective in midfield, winning a number of tackles and proving assured on the ball, releasing Emeghara for a good chance in the first half.Pasquale Schiattarella - Never offered his side anything notable in the attacking third, as Chiellini was able to ruffle his feathers and keep him from getting the ball in dangerous areas.Innocent Emeghara - Though he worked hard off the ball to get on the end of things, he lacked composure, slicing a finish over the top when a goal looked like an easier outcome.Luca Siligardi - Virtually anonymous for the vast majority of the game as he rarely touched the ball in attack, and was little more than another body when covering at the back.http://markting10.nl/ Substitutions Cristiano Piccini - Had little time to add anything to the game.Giuseppe Gemiti - His side were well out of the game by the time he took the field, his impact was negligible.http://markting10.nl/ JUVENTUS Gianluigi Buffon - Solid in goal, covering his angles well and dealing with routine tasks in that exact manner.Martín Cáceres - Hardly put a foot wrong at the back, taking control of matters whenever the ball was delivered into his zone.Arturo Vidal - Drafted into the centre of defence on the night, but was completely in control, manhandling the Livorno attackers and dealing with whatever was thrown his way.Giorgio Chiellini - Defended stoutly on the left side of the back three, flattening a few Livorno players during the rare attacks by the visitors, and pushing up to the halfway line to nip counter attacks in the bud.Simone Padoin - Proved an effective option down the right flank, getting the better of Mbaye more than once, and delivering a few pinpoint crosses into the area. Good outlet to ease congestion centrally.Paul Pogba - The Frenchman continues to go from strength to strength, as he set up Llorente's all important goal with a great cross, and looked capable of creating danger throughout the second half.Andrea Pirlo - Came close with a few of his more ambitious passes, and was otherwise solid, if not spectacular, keeping play ticking efficiently.Claudio Marchisio - Provided a lot of energy in both halves of the field, defending well and spraying some effective passes forward, as well as adopting some dangerous positions.Kwadwo Asamoah - Energetic and involved on the left, pushing high up to support the attack with distinction, and constantly recovering his defensive position to help out the back three.Carlos Tévez - Frustrated for most of the game, but responded in style late on with a deft sidefooted finish that gave Juve breathing space and wrapped up the points.Fernando Llorente - After a physical game where he held the ball up very well, he came up with the goods by burying a great finish, sidefooting home on the volley from Pogba's cross. Set up Tevez's later clincher with another great piece of link up play.http://markting10.nl/ Substitutions Mirko Vučinić - Came on with less than 10 minutes to go and as a result, barely touched the ball.Fabio Quagliarella - Did not have much of an opportunity to strut his stuff.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Nov 24, 2013 Antonio Conte praised makeshift centre-back Arturo Vidal as his Juventus side beat Livorno 2-0 at Stadio Armando Picchi to go top of Serie A.http://markting10.nl/ Despite suffering a crisis in defence with Leonardo Bonucci, Angelo Ogbonna, Stephan Liechsteiner and Andrea Barzagli all missing, Juve recorded a clean sheet against 15th-placed Livorno, with midfielder Vidal drafted into the back four alongside Martin Caceres. Though Conte admitted he was unhappy with a late lapse in concentration from Vidal, he suggested the Chilean could be a useful solution to the Bianconeri's current defensive problems while freeing up space in midfield. "He made me angry at the end with a slightly complacent move, but overall he did brilliantly. It might even be his best role. That'll solve my problem of having so many great midfielders, I'll just play Vidal at the back!" Conte joked to reporters after the match.http://markting10.nl/ Two second-half goals from summer additions Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez wrapped up the points for the Old Lady and Conte was pleased his side were able to continue their strong domestic form so soon after the international break. "The lads are doing something great, even if we are only in week 13," he continued. "I liked the performance today as, in this type of game after Real Madrid, Napoli and international duty, a tiny bit of arrogance or complacency can sneak in, but they resisted that." Juve will be hoping to replicate their domestic form in the Champions League on Wednesday when they face FC Copenhagen in a crucial clash at Juventus stadium.http://markting10.nl/ "It is in our hands and that is the most important thing. If we do well, then we'll go forward, but if we don’t then it means we’ll have to improve," Conte added. "The team wants to continue this Champions League experience and well do anything to achieve that."http://markting10.nl/ Conte had a message for Livorno captain Andrea Luci, who this week revealed his six-year-old son is suffering from a rare genetic disease. “I spoke with Andrea and told him all of us who are fathers know what it means. I already knew him well, as he played at Juventus in the youth team when I was there and I had wanted to take him to Arezzo. It’s an excellent platform for us ahead of Wednesday’s return to Champions League action.”http://markting10.nl/ Buffon, himself, has been criticised at times this season, but he’s responded well to some of the negativity. “At my age you can’t allow yourself the luxury of slipping up,” continued the 35-year-old. “I feel stronger than I did when I was a youngster and when I’m focused it’s rare for me to get things wrong.http://markting10.nl/ “But I need to keep showing that, otherwise it’s probably best to call it a day.” Sunday was a special day for the No 1 given that he made his 500th appearance in the Italian top-flight – 332 of those for the Bianconeri. “It was the first building block and since then we’ve placed another 499 and 37 in Serie B,” he said when asked about his debut for Parma back in November 1995.http://markting10.nl/ “At that time I just thought about wanting to be a key player as well as showing the world that I was on the scene. I don’t know if I’m the best, but what I do know is that I always need to show it. “You need to be a little bit daft, along with having quality, the right mentality and the desire to live a steady life.http://markting10.nl/ “I was an adolescent when I started playing, I didn’t have much of a beard. “Now my beard’s thicker and features a few more white hairs, but I’ve kept a bit of that positive craziness that has helped me over the years.”http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Nov 25, 2013 Like many before, this game was dangerously headed for a 0-0 draw and a slew of "Juve rusty again after international break" headlines. Except not this year. With Juventus finally addressing the lack of clinical-finishing attackers in the summer, cases like these will be a lot rarer. Sprinkle that pot with a creative burst of energy from a 20-year old kid playing like he's led teams for ages, and you have a winning formula for such afternoons like the one in Livorno on Sunday.http://markting10.nl/ Speaking of Livorno, this team to me are just the scum of Italian football. Rolling around after every small push like they lost a limb, yelling and gesturing at the ref every 5 minutes, going in unnecessarily hard and aggressive then faking fair play....ugh, they disgust me. I couldn't be happier that we beat them on their own ground while keeping a clean sheet. Looking back at the actual gameplay, the opening 45 minutes had little to show for in terms of goal scoring opportunities on either side. Granted, Juventus dominated possession as expected and worked their slow build up mostly along the right hand side through Pirlo, Padoin, and Pogba, but it rarely ended up troubling Bardi.http://markting10.nl/ Tevez saw very little of the ball in dangerous situations, bar one through pass by Pirlo that allowed him a blocked shot from a tight corner. Most of the "chances" were crosses towards Llorente, who admittedly had one great opportunity to open the scoring early on, but he himself was just getting warmed up for the game. The only time play switched to the left, Asamoah got rid of a defender and directed a powerful shot on goal which was punched away. The second half was when the true Juventus came alive, led by our emerging young leader Paul Pogba. Livorno's tight and hard-working 10-man defense started tiring and going for broke, which allowed Juventus a lot more space. Asamoah saw a lot more of the ball in the second half which tactically was a great adjustment by Conte. After an hour of play, the Ghanaian made a nifty run forward, passed it to Pogba in space who directed an almost no-look cross in Llorente's path, setting up the Spaniard for a great volley and the 1-0 lead. It was a swift, beautifully executed attack in which team cohesion and individual brilliance combined for the perfect opening goal.http://markting10.nl/ Soon after, Llorente controlled another ball in Livorno's box, patiently drew defenders on, then laid it over to Tevez for the one-time shot in the low left corner and the 2-0 lead. Livorno kept trying to 1) bitch to the referee for all fouls and potential set pieces/penalties, and 2) hit Juventus on the counter attack but both were fruitless efforts. In the end, Juventus continued their assured stride towards the top of the table with the temporary number 1 spot until Roma's game on Monday takes it away/makes it official.http://markting10.nl/ LE PAGELLE Buffon: 7- I think we were all happy to see him go back to a boring 90 minutes after the game against Napoli.Caceres: 7 - A very steady game despite being flanked by Vidal and Padoin, to which I'm sure he wasn't accustomed. I realized I didn't know the answer to this halfway through the game - how does he get those super high socks? Or does he have some sort of liner socks that go above his knees? I know that's his staple wear, but I have no idea how that works.Vidal: 7.5 - Playing his first game for Juventus as a center back, Arturo was a worthy replacement for Bonucci in the center of our defense. Had a few errant passes in the beginning, but found his rhythm as the game went on. It was quite refreshing to have a technically gifted defender. I was rarely worried he would turn the ball over or that his pass would be way off the mark (like I sometimes am with all of our defenders). On a couple occasions, especially early on, he was caught pushing too high after set pieces which left us very vulnerable on the counter attack. That said, can you imagine how hard it must have been for him not to surge forward every time he had possession?Chiellini: 7.5 - Had a really good game. Shut down counter attacks, was the physical presence we needed with Bonucci and Barzagli absent, and had some good passes in attack as well.Padoin: 7 - He doesn't have the skill nor the pace to play that right winger position, but he certainly has the determination and stamina to compete. As usual, he was up for every challenge and had some good passes/crosses in Livorno's box.Pogba: 8.5 - The first of what I hope will be many all-around performances by the young Frenchman. Not only did he inspire our team going forward in the second half with his energy, passing, and leadership, he fought for every ball on defense and hustled on every possession. He cannot be in a better position on any other team right now for his development. He has all the skill in the world, but Conte's coaching style and system will instill in him the discipline necessary to succeed on the higher stage. He is obviously not only a fan favorite, but a team favorite. You can see our players love playing with him. Keep it going kid!Pirlo: 7.5 - Despite Livorno's physicality, Pirlo was able to routinely get away from their pressing. Andrea pushed the play through the right side in the first half, but glad we adjusted play in the second. As always, had some great balls forward over the midfield and defense.Marchisio: 7 - Like most of the team, was better in the second half than the first. I didn't even see how many times he touched the ball in the first 45 minutes, it couldn't have been more than a handful. In the second, he found a lot more space on the left side as he was overlapping with Asamoah. An improvement over previous games for sure, I still believe he can get back to being 100% fit and effective for Juventus, but he'll need to work hard at it.Asamoah: 8 - The rating may be generous, but I thought he had a great second half. In the first, he seemed a bit ostracized on that left flank, but once he started seeing more of the ball he surely made the most of it. Started the beautiful run for our opening goal, had a couple good shots on target, and overall gave the Livorno defense plenty of confusion with his movement. On defense he was as hard-working as ever too.Tevez: 7.5 - Llorente saw a lot more of the ball-hold up play which was actually pretty effective for us. He gave another spirited performance, and took his goal well from close range. His understanding with Llorente is becoming better each game, which is so encouraging to see. The beauty and the beast finally working well together!Llorente: 8.5 - Definite man of match, even though I was a bit tempted to give it Pogba. His volley for the goal was fantastic, and served as a reminder that he's not only a one-dimensional player that scores headers. His hold up play was excellent, and he did very well to set up Tevez for the second goal. The goal celebrations warmed my heart as all the other, short players came in for a hug from big papa. So adorable.Subs: Vucinic: sv Quagliarella: sv - pass the ball Fabio! Pogba could've had a goal of his own had you passed him the ball right in front of goal after that near own-goal header by Livorno!Peluso: sv Conte: 7.5 - It's not the easiest thing to motivate your squad after an international break for a game in Livorno. The way Conte's built this team though, Juve don't need any additional motivation. The Vidal as center back was an interesting choice that went our way for sure. Glad we won't have to do it again anytime soon. Not sure if this was his recognition or not, but I was very happy we used the whole field in the second half for attack rather than just the right flank.http://www.goal.com/en/results-standings/69/italy-serie-a/table?ICID=SP_TN_111 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Giancarlo Rinaldi rounds up who took their opportunities – and who let them slip. Nov 25, 2013 It is the mark of champions that they mess things up much less than their would-be rivals. Cutting out silly mistakes and avoidable defeats or draws is a key element to winning trophies. And Juventus gave proof of their proficiency in that department once again at the weekend.http://markting10.nl/ With Roma to play a Monday night match there was a shot for all the sides trailing in the wake of Rudi Garcia’s men to play a little catch-up. For most of them, the pressure of the situation proved too much to take. That was not the case for Antonio Conte’s team, however, despite taking a makeshift defence on the road to Livorno. It will have cheered Bianconeri everywhere to see the names on the scoresheet too. Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente are starting to become exactly the kind of double act everyone at the club hoped they would be. It allowed an overtaking manoeuvre which will test the resolve of the Giallorossi when they go into action against Cagliari.http://markting10.nl/ “Every game we play together things get better and better,” said Juve’s Spanish striker in words about his partnership with the Argentine front man which had an ominous ring. “We are getting to know each other more and more and every match we get stronger physically. We did what we had to do and we hope to keep going like that – starting with Copenhagen in the Champions League.” It was all in stark contrast to the efforts of some of the other sides in the upper reaches of the table who could have made a move forward themselves. Napoli, Fiorentina and Verona all suffered single goal defeats which left them standing still instead of advancing. Each one will have lessons to learn from how they were defeated. Nov 26, 2013 Juventus boss Antonio Conte has admitted his side must beat Copenagen if they are to qualify from Champions League Group B.http://markting10.nl/ The Bianconeri have been underwhelming in Europe so far this term and sit bottom of the group on three points having drawn three and lost one of their opening four games. But with Real Madrid the runaway leaders in the group, the second qualification spot remains firmly up for grabs, with just a point separating second-placed Galatasaray and Conte's men. The Italian told reporters: "Tomorrow’s match is extremely difficult and a crucial one at that. We need to win at all costs if we want to continue our journey in this year’s Champions League.http://markting10.nl/ “Having said that, I’m perfectly relaxed because I’ve got a group of lads who are used to playing these win-or-bust games for almost two and a half years now - ones that involve great pressure and responsibility. The 44-year-old said: "Fernando’s done very well. I found myself in a similar situation when I had just joined Juventus, everything seemed dark and I didn’t think I was in the right place.http://markting10.nl/ "He came here as a world champion and a successful player, but has had the patience to take our workload on board and apply himself. He’s a complete, modern player, not your typical centre-forward who lurks in the box, but one who provides assists. “There’s still plenty of room for improvement, though, and if he continues in this vein then he should certainly go to the World Cup. He’s looking good up front with Tevez, they’ve now earned the starting berths, but I’m not going to forget those who have helped us enjoy plenty of success over the past two years.” Defenders Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna look set to return tomorrow night, but there will be no place for Andrea Barzagli who has only resumed light training this week. There's 180 minutes left of the group stages and Juve are currently looking up at three teams in Group B. No, really. That's no typo., folks Through four group matches, all Juventus have to show for it is three draws and a loss. You can probably guess where I'm going with this. Juventus need points in the worst possible way. There's not just one team to jump over in the standings to get into the next round, but two. The first opportunity comes in Turin Wednesday night when Juve host FC Copenhagen. Yeah, the same Copenhagen squad that Juve played out a 1-1 draw in Denmark back in the middle of September.http://markting10.nl/ But that was then — a different kind of period in time this season. And as we've come to see the past four or five weeks, that Juventus is not the same as the current Juventus team that went toe to toe with Real Madrid and hasn't allowed a goal in five straight Serie A games. It's fairly certain that Good Juventus will have to show up these next 180 minutes if there's any chance of Antonio Conte and Co. getting to the knockout round. There's no other way around it. Playing Copenhagen at Juventus Stadium is one thing, but going to a hostile atmosphere in Istanbul is another. To have a chance for the trip to Turkey to mean just as much as Juve's trip to Ukraine a year ago, there's only one thing that they need to do — win, win, win.http://markting10.nl/ In conclusion: I like the Champions League anthem. I don't want to stop listening to the Champions League anthem before Juventus games when the calendar flips over to 2014. I'd like to hear it some more at Juventus Stadium. And not some video on YouTube, either. The real deal, you guys. So, Juventus, make sure we're listening to said anthem in February. It'd be really cool.http://markting10.nl/ GOOD NEWS Juventus' first eight Serie A games: 10 goals allowed. Juventus' last five Serie A games: 0 goals allowed. I know this is the Champions League and all, but this needed to be pointed out.http://markting10.nl/ BAD NEWS Injuries — because what else have we filled this preview space with lately? Stephan Lichtsteiner, Mauricio Isla, Andrea Barzagli, Sebastian Giovinco and Simone Pepe all miss out due to injury. Some of those names are not a surprise, some are recently added to the list. Have I mentioned yet that I miss Stephan Lichtsteiner? Because I miss Stephan Lichtsteiner.http://markting10.nl/ WHAT TO WATCH FOR 1. Which formation Juventus rolls with, 3-5-2 or 4-3-3? The first time around against Copenhagen,. there was no debate. Conte had his 3-5-2 and that was that. No need to debate it, no need to even talk about it — at all. That non-debate was put to bed when Conte went back to a 4-3-3 when Juve played in Madrid last month. The non-debate became a, well, debate again. Should Juve go with a 3-5-2 or 4-3-3 from now on in Europe? The results are the results. Against Madrid, it was 4-3-3. Against Copenhagen, it's more of a guessing game. Different team and tactics, of course, but the 4-3-3 has worked in Europe — so why go away from it all the sudden?http://markting10.nl/ JuventusFC ✔ @juventusfcen Conte: We've used two systems of play in the #UCL. Tomorrow we'll look to play the system that gives us the most guarantees. #JuveCopenhagen2. Who plays on the right wing — regardless of formation. The status of Lichtsteiner and Isla remains exactly the same as it was a few days ago. That means Juve will, again, be without its starting right back and the immediate backup. And if Conte does go with a 3-5-2 like some people are suggesting, then it's down to either to Martin Caceres or Simone Padoin. But I like Uruguayans with high socks, so you probably know who'd I'd like to start.http://markting10.nl/ 3. Who plays in the absence of Andrea Barzagli. While Juventus will have a pair of players — Leonardo Bonucci and Angelo Ogbonna — back from the squad that traveled to Tuscany to face Livorno, the odds of the Great Wall of Barza playing have officially been set at zero after Conte ruled him out.JuventusFC ✔ @juventusfcen Conte: Barzagli will not feature in tomorrow's game. We're relaxed about the situation, Caceres is doing very well. #JuveCopenhagen #UCL Basic logic would tell you that the natural replacement for Barzagli on the right side of Juve's three-man defense is Caceres. But since the options are pretty limited on the right wing, it's not all that certain. Could Ogbonna take over in the middle and push Bonucci to the right? It's possible. But I like Uruguayans with high socks, so you probably know who'd I'd like to start.http://markting10.nl/ 4. The ever-improving rapport between Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente. Consider both Tevez and Llorente scoring goals against Livorno as the latest chapter in the story. Or, you can think of it however the heck you want. Either way, Tevez and Llorente are starting to click. It's not just the goals, but the entire package that comes with the Tevez-Llorente combo finding its stride. The combination play between the two seems to get better as the games go by, and so does the overall understanding. The general assumption was that whenever it clicked, this would be Juve's No. 1 partnership. Well, it's done just that — and now it seems as though Conte is seeing what we all are, too.http://markting10.nl/ 5. The impact of Kwadwo Asamoah. The highlight of Asamoah's game against Livorno was the run he made that led to Llorente's opener. It's pretty easy to figure that one out. But it wasn't just that memorable run that made his game so good, as a certain Ivo Andov discussed in his match review. The more Asamoah was involved, the more of an impact he had. That's not all that surprising considering that can be said for a lot of players — you see more of the ball, you have a better chance to do something good. And there's no doubting Asamoah did plenty of good against Livorno. Now, to build on it...http://markting10.nl/ My starting XI (3-5-2): Buffon; Bonucci, Ogbonna, Chiellini; Caceres, Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah; Llorente, Tevez OR My starting XI (4-3-3): Buffon; Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini, Asamoah; Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba; Vucinic, Llorente, Tevez Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

Around 52 weeks ago to the date, Juventus found themselves in similar position. They entered the domestic season as undisputed favorites, and promptly kicked off the season with an emphatic Supercoppa victory against a team donning powder blue. Serie A began in fairly typical fashion, until a blown lead against a bitter rival made for a devastating autumn surprise. Meanwhile, things got off to a slow start in Europe. Having drawn a wealthy powerhouse with seemingly limitless resources, a difficult Eastern team with a difficult name to pronounce, and some Scandinavian relatives of our resident nordic columnist, we knew it wouldn’t be easy. But we wouldn’t have expected Juventus to return home from Copenhagen with merely a single point twice in two seasons. But alas it has come to pass, one of these matches was attended by the aforementioned Lars, and thus the Curse of Lars was born.http://markting10.nl/ While this year is not a perfect carbon copy of the last, the similarities remain. Last year Juventus rebounded from the depressing 3-1 home loss to Inter by smacking around Pescara and the afore-alluded-to Nordsjaellen. This year they’ve responded to an equally depressing 4-2 loss at Fiorentina by thrashing Scudetto rival Napoli 3-0; playing a couple of heartbreaking but emphatic ties against that fantasy football team over in Madrid; and as of today, capturing sole possession of the top of the Italian table for the first time this season. The next logical step, of course, is a foul plot afoot in Turin and another thumping of some Danes. The big difference this time is that Juventus do not have destiny in their own hands. Hey Carlone, be a pal, do an old friend a favor, and take three from Galatasaray this week? It would really make up for Cronaldo winning the Madrid game by diving. Thanks. Back to work, Ragazzi. Avanti.http://markting10.nl/ Juventus As mentioned, Juventus have been on a hot run of form lately. Having retaken their rightful spot at the top, it’s telling that they’ve been able to do it despite a run of bad luck in terms of squad selection. Luckily they will not be with as extreme of a situation as they were in Serie A due to suspensions not applicable to European play. Yet a number of players are unavailable due to injury. Key among that lot are Andrea Barzagli and the still injured Stephan Lichtsteiner — the latter of whom was arguably the player Juventus missed most in both legs against Real Madrid. That list is rounded out by Lichtsteiner’s understudy Mauricio Isla, who will be out for an extended period of time after picking up a knee injury on international duty, and Simone Pepe, who may or may not even exist at this point. Sebastian Giovinco also remains unavailable.http://markting10.nl/ With that, it will be interesting to see how Antonio Conte lines up. While he switched to a 4-3-3-type shape for the last two UCL fixtures, those were against Real Madrid who have arguably the top 2-3 wide threats in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale. Having reverted back to a 3-5-2 for the recent domestic fixtures, it’s likely that Conte will return to his tried-and-true for this fixture. Two-thirds of the back three are a given, and it remains to be seen whether Conte will prefer to utilize Angelo Ogbonna or Martin Caceres at the right center-back position. While the latter of the two is a natural righty and more comfortable in that slot than the former, he was responsible for earning a +1 rather than +3 against Madrid in Turin — although he played brilliantly otherwise. Still, I’ve often contended he is best suited as a wide player, be it at right or left back (where he often features for his native Uruguay), or right wingback. Unfortunately, Antonio Conte has indicated that he will feature Caceres as a center back in lieu of Barzagli, meaning my nemesis Simone Padoin, will get the nod at right wingback. Padoin is the vanilla ice cream of Juventus. He is neither good nor bad. Makes few mistakes, but contributes nothing else. I understand there can be value in that type of player, but I do not understand the selection at this moment, in light of better, more talented alternatives which exist.http://markting10.nl/ In the middle of the pitch, I’d select the M-V-P classic. Despite Paul Pogba’s good run of form, Claudio Marchisio showed how valuable he is even when not contributing offensively last week against Livorno. His awareness, pace, and willingness to track back single-handedly stopped two counter-attacks, keeping the score level into the second half for Juventus to close the deal. In a must-win situation such as this, he must start. Whether Conte agrees or not remains to be seen, as reports seem to indicate Pogba will be first choice. Up front, he seems set to stick with Fernando Llorente. The Spanish striker is finally hitting his stride and seems to have earned Conte’s trust. He was fundamental in the fixtures versus Real Madrid, scoring twice in as many games, and would be a good, tall, physical foil to Carlos Tevez whilst up against Copenhagen’s tall, physical defenders. Despite my preferences, we’re likely to see the following:Probable Formation: (3-5-2) Buffon: Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini; Padoin, Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal, Asamoah; Tevez, Llorentehttp://markting10.nl/ København What was supposed to be the minnows of Group B have put in some valiant performances thus far in the Champions League. There was the aforementioned draw against Juve in Copenhagen, as well as a defeat of Galatasaray (thanks, Lars…seriously) in Copenhagen. This is not the easiest team to profile, as they’ve got no real notable European names (save for an old, Steve-Stiffler-resembling friend), and aren’t particularly successful on the continent. But Wednesday’s meeting of course lies far deeper than the tip of the Mellberg iceburg. I mean sure, we all know that despite all of those crazy Danes, the CIA says it’s A-OK to visit them. If we’ve learned anything from this campaign, it’s that they play tough, smart, disciplined football. And they’re happy to do it and play the role of world-beaters. In fact, very happy. (Although, I sometimes wonder why).http://markting10.nl/ Nothing can be taken for granted. Especially considering three points are an absolute must.Probable Formation: (4-3-3) Wiland; Mellberg, Bengtsson, Sigurdsson, Jacobsen; Delaney, Bolanos, Jorgensen; Santin; Vetokele, Toutouh. That leaves three clubs, including Juventus and Copenhagen, to battle for the other spot available out of Group B.http://markting10.nl/ Juventus are displaying good form in league play, recently taking over the Serie A lead from Roma. Yet, for whatever season, they haven't been able to replicate that success in the Champions League with three draws and a loss in four matches. Despite those struggles by the Vecchia Signora, Copenhagen face an uphill battle if they are going to advance. After traveling to Italy for the matchup with Juventus, they finish group play by facing off with Real Madrid, one of the tournament's top contenders.http://markting10.nl/ Top Storyline: Can Juventus Overcome Slow Start to Advance from Group B? Copenhagen's game plan heading into the match should be pretty straightforward. The Danish club is going to defend and counterattack with hopes of securing at least a draw to at least give itself a chance heading into the final match against Real, which should have little to play for at that point. For Juventus, that's good news because it means they should be able to control possession and pace while spending a lot of time in the attacking half of the field. It's also worrisome, however, because it's going to take a concerted effort to break down the defensive wall, an arduous task for a frustrated squad. It puts the onus on the Vecchia Signora midfield, which is led by Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba, to push forward aggressively. It must find a way to create chances for Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez early.http://markting10.nl/ One quick goal would change the entire complexion of the match. It would force Copenhagen to come out of their defensive shell and open up more passing lanes in the final third for Juventus, at which point they could totally take control. Juventus plays the other two clubs in direct competition for the other berth out of Group B over the next two matches. So they control their own destiny, and their league form suggests they should bounce back from a sluggish start in UCL play, but the margin for error is slim.http://markting10.nl/ Prediction The most important positive sign for Copenhagen is the fact that all of the pressure is on Juventus. So if they can build that defensive wall and keep the Vecchia Signora at bay for a while, the pressure will mount and the Serie A side will be forced to take more chances, opening up the counterattacks. Yet, it's hard to imagine Juventus letting the opportunity slip away. They didn't get off to an ideal start in the Champions League, but two strong performances can push them into the next round and they can begin with a clean slate for the knockout rounds. They will take the first step on Wednesday.Juventus 2 - 0 Copenhagen http://youtu.be/vT9eNm-vKZ0 Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

The reverse fixture ended in a 1-1 draw for the away side as Fabio Quagliarella’s goal in the second half cancelled out Nicolai Jørgensen’s opener.http://markting10.nl/ With Real Madrid running away with the top spot in this group, the fight for second place is wide open and will head towards a thrilling finale on the final day. Both Copenhagen and Juventus are in contention for a place in the next round along with Galatasaray and the three teams are separated by just one point. The result of this game will go a long way in deciding the final outcome of this group as Copenhagen will face Real Madrid in their last group stage fixture.Team news and tacticsJuventus Juventus have made a bright start to their domestic campaign and look to be on course to defend their Serie A title. They have lost only one of their 13 league fixtures so far and are currently on five match winning streak in the league. Juventus are yet to lose a game at their home ground in all competitions this season and are coming into this game on the back of a 0-2 victory against Livorno. It was a comfortable win for the away side as Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez got on the score-sheet. They have been defensively solid as well and have now kept five clean-sheets in a row in Serie A.http://markting10.nl/ There has been a huge contrast in their league form and their performance in Europe though. Juventus haven’t managed to win any of their four Champions League game this season. In fact they are on a winless streak of six games in this competition since last season and the last time they extended this run to seven games was back in 1998. The Italian side are currently at the bottom of the group having accumulated only three points so far. But despite such poor record so far, they are still in with a good shout to qualify for the next round as both Copenhagen and Galatasaray will face Real Madrid once in their remaining two fixtures. This should provide Juventus with an advantage, but this a must win game for them in order to capitalize on this. Interestingly Juve have won only four of their last 12 Champions League fixture at home. Juventus must take confidence from the fact that they managed to hold Real Madrid to a 2-2 draw in their last fixture. Antonio Conte has a long injury list to contain with ahead of this fixture. Simone Pepe remains at the sideline with his injury and he has been joined by Stephan Lichtsteiner, Andrea Barzagli, Sebastian Giovinco and Mauricio Isla. Vucinic has recovered from his injury and featured in the match against Livorno as a substitute in the second half.http://markting10.nl/ Conte is expected to make four changes to the side he fielded against Livorno. Conte did change to a 4-3-3 formation against Real Madrid, but is expected to switch back to his favoured 3-5-2 in this game. Injuries have provided Conte with limited options on the right wing and at the back. Arturo Vidal was started at the back against Livorno, but the 26-year-old will move back to the midfield in place of Marchisio. Martin Caceres will start on the right wing in place of Simone Padoin, while Bonucci and Ogbonna joins Chiellini at the back.Expected starting line-up: Buffon; Chiellini, Bonucci, Ogbonna; Asamoah, Pogba, Pirlo, Vidal, Caceres; Tevez, Llorente Copenhagen Copenhagen made a disastrous start to their domestic campaign and won only two of their opening 10 league fixtures, but a recent improvement in their domestic form as seen them rise up to third spot in the Superliga table – six points behind league leaders FC Midtjylland. They are one a six match unbeaten run in all competitions and will be looking to maintain this momentum. Copenhagen are coming into this fixture on the back of a comfortable 4-1 win over Viborg as Igor Vetokele scored a wonderful brace. Copenhagen’s home form has been brilliant this season so far and they are undefeated in their 11 fixtures at Parken (and are currently on a seven match winning streak on their ground), but they have been poor on their travels and have failed to win their last five matches away from home.http://markting10.nl/ They got off to a good start in the Champions League with a hard fought draw against Juventus at home, but have lost both their matches on the road against Real Madrid and Galatasaray. They are currently third in the league table and just one point behind Galatasaray. Copenhagen kept their hopes of qualification alive with a 1-0 victory over the Turkish side in their last Champions League fixture as Daniel Braaaten’s early goal proved to be the winner. But with the prospect of facing Real Madrid in their last game, Copenhagen must get a positive result in this match against Juventus. This is the match to turn around their poor away form before it is too late. The Danish side have lost seven of their last nine away fixtures and have failed to score in six of them. Manager Ståle Solbakken has only one injury concern ahead of this game. Daniel Braaten, who scored the winner against Galatasaray, will miss out this game with a thigh injury. Solbakken is expected to make only one change to the side he fielded against Viborg. Igor Vetokele, who scored a brace in this weekend and has been the club’s top scorer in the league, has had limited opportunities in the Champions League, but the 21-year-old will once again get the opportunity to shine on the big stage as he replaced the injured Braaten upfront, while Cesar Santin will be replaced by Claudemir.Expected starting line-up: Wiland (GK); Jacobsen, Mellberg, Sigurdsson, Bengtsson; Gislason, Claudemir, Delaney, Toutouh; Jorgensen, Vetokelehttp://markting10.nl/ Players to watch-out for: Carlos Tevez (Juventus); Igor Vetokele (FC Copenhagen)Prediction: Juventus 2-1 Copenhagen Blast from the past Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti

He added: "My money is on Llorente as the decisive man. To be honest, at the beginning of the season I was among the sceptics. "I didn’t have doubts about the player himself, but his adaptability to Conte’s game. But he's scoring and playing very well.http://markting10.nl/ "He has the right characteristics to hurt the Danes. And above all, he seems to be in great shape." One of Juventus' standout players this season has been Paul Pogba, with five goals from midfield already this season. However, the youngster is yet to score in the Champions League - with Carlos Tevez without a goal in Europe in four years - but Tardelli is confident both can end their barren runs.http://markting10.nl/ When queried on Pogba's record, Tardelli said: "It’s a minor detail, we’re talking about an important midfielder. He is playing fantastically, I hope he can score against Copenhagen. "And the same goes for Tevez: the fact that he has not scored in Europe is a coincidence, I think." Nov 27, 2013 Galatasaray coach Roberto Mancini has admitted that he is reluctant to risk Wesley Sneijder in Wednesday's crucial Champions League clash with Real Madrid.http://markting10.nl/ The Netherlands international has been struggling with a niggling thigh injury of late and his Italian coach is considering keeping the playmaker out of harm's way, with next month's potentially decisive Group B showdown with Juventus in mind. "Sneijder is not 100 per cent," the Italian said. "He's been working with the team over the last four or five days, and [on Wednesday] we'll make a decision for him. "But it's important that we can't take any risks with Wesley, because he's very important for us."http://markting10.nl/ Galatasaray currently sit second in Group B, level on points with Copenhagen and just one ahead of Juventus. Mancini expects the Bianconeri to defeat the Danes in Turin on Wednesday night and, therefore, feels that his side's qualification hopes hinge on their matchday six meeting with Antonio Conte's side, as he feels a Gala victory at the Santiago Bernabeu is unlikely. "It is mathematics. This doesn't change if we lose or if we take one point [against Madrid]," the former Manchester City boss reasoned.http://markting10.nl/ "In my opinion, the last game will be the key game against Juventus - but we have one game [on Wednesday] and even it's difficult in football, you should never say never. "Anything can happen and we will try to play a good game and try to win if it's possible. We know that it'll be difficult but we want to try." Despite not wanting to think too far ahead, Mancini's primary focus is on pipping Juventus to second place.http://markting10.nl/ "This is where we are at this moment. I think that also because after the first game in Istanbul [a 6-1 loss to Madrid], for the team it was really difficult to go through to the second stage," he said. "Now we are alive. We shall play two games. It's difficult that the second game is against Juventus, but we can do anything. "We can beat Juventus and if we beat Juventus, we go through. But, at this moment in time, we need to think about the Real Madrid game." Condividi questo messaggio Link di questo messaggio Condividi su altri siti
